yes! Sometimes no. But definitely a MUSTGO! Sometimes you find items never used/worn. Certainly items that look brand new. I don’t think I’ve been here for a year. Looking for something for a themed party is what brought me in. I don’t want to spend much money on an item that I wouldn’t usually wear. of course you can find items here that you will wand to proudly wear everyday. Career wear. Party wear. Special occasion items. Purses and shoes galore! And the shoes are nicely displayed and in order by size. Dressing rooms are very nice and are always clean. In my experience the staff are delightful, we shared a few laughs. I did not find what I needed for my event, but I still made a very modest purchase on a very elegant looking item that the workers complimented while ringing up. OMG, I almost forgot to tell you to get your costume jewelry here. I don’t think I’ve purchased any, but believe me there is so much here!

Absolutely the worst for sellers — believe the negative comments! You can get more for your items by selling them at a garage sale or on eBay. I’ve also found the staff to be extremely rude. I was browsing through clothes near the register, and a woman brought in items to sell. When she stepped away from the counter, the two girls working started to laugh at what she brought in, and one of them said, «This is so ugly. Why would we want this?» Very unprofessional(although what can you expect from kids that young?) and inappropriate. They were also extremely rude to me the one time I attempted to sell to them, although from what I’ve seen, I would have rejected the offer anyways. I also didn’t find the prices on their clothes to be all that great. A used H & M sweater for $ 18? That’s what a brand new one costs in their store!

This is a really good place to find inexpensive but good quality clothing. I have purchased a lot of my professional wardrobe here. If you’re going to sell items, they have to have the brand tags still on them or they cannot take them. They have a military discount on the 15th and 30th of every month, they do a stamp card for future discounts and their staff is pretty friendly. Overall though I have always left the shop knowing I got a deal and that’s a really good feeling.

From a business perspective I have to give them props for their acumen. However, as a selling customer I was not impressed. This serves as a heads up for those who wish to sell their items in exchange for a decent pay out: it will NOT happen. For example, I had a $ 250 Sky maxi dress purchased this summer(unworn, tags still attached, and still available for sell at the original price). Their wonky computer system priced the dress at $ 18, which would have left me with a cut of only $ 6. Absolutely absurd. Their website claims that their resale price would be 1⁄3 of the original price. Unless they have their own definition for«original price», the last I checked 1⁄3 of 250 is NOT18. And it was deers in headlight when I asked the clerk to expound on how their computer system worked(because whatever«original price» it used to arrive at the $ 18 resale amount was definitely incorrect). It’s worth noting, in case I haven’t been clear, that I didn’t go in thinking I would be offered the same price I paid… but I did expect an amount that reflected the pay out system they advertise. On a positive note, the store is very tidy and organized and has some excellent finds at great prices. So even though they rip you off as a seller, you can at least reap the benefit as a shopper. That’s its saving grace and the only reason why I’m being generous with my rating. A note to management: you really should provide sellers with an itemization of how everything is calculated. I shouldn’t have to waste time sifting through my bin, asking the clerk one item at a time how much everything went for. There should be something in print that I can actually lay eyes on so I can see for myself.

This is an excellent resale store. All the items are in really good shape, many look new. The sales girls can be a bit snotty(not sure why) but the place is well organized and has a great selection of both Mall brands and higher end brands like Coach and Michael Kors. They have a good selection of shoes and accessories and both casual and cocktail dress type clothing.

This store is a great combination of high-end clothes and accessories and other well known brands. All sizes and seasons. Staff especially nice and helpful. Not your regular consignment store. They buy your items upfront. You don’t have to wait for someone to buy your item before you get paid. I have both bought and sold clothes at this store. I was pleased at the ease of both transactions. Love it!!!

I love this store! I was in Virginia Beach last weekend visiting my best friend. She had an event to attend that evening and was looking for something to wear. She told me she was going to look for something at one of her favorite stores. We hopped in the car and drove to Clothes Mentor. O.M.G! I walked in and fell in love! I was so surprised at the quality of products, as this is a resale store. I was impressed with the brands that were available. Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, oh my! The pieces in here were from lines I purchase frequently. Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Maggy London, and Calvin Klein just to name a few. All the pieces were in excellent condition and I think the highest price I saw was $ 130 for a Tory Burch! They had excellent clothing, shoe and accessory inventory. I found excellent deals here and look forward to returning and finding more!
