Bear Bottom Tanning

None of my friends or my wife approve of me going to tanning salons, they just don’t understand.
Chose this place based on location, and I have no gripes here. I like to do stand up, and they have pretty good machines here, they also have a selection of lay down machines as well, all clean from what I see.
They provide a towel, pretty standard, but require you to bring your own eye wear or purchase available items from them. They have lotions available as well, and the max time limit for stand up here is 12 minutes, although I’ve been to a few places that let me go anywhere from 13 – 15 minutes, which I’m sure is pushing it.
Customer service has been polite, but short, there’s not much to talk about at a tanning salon. Although I have to disagree with the other only review on this page, when I did strike up conversation both workers were pretty talkative and have greeted me as I walk in and leave. Good service, for a good price.

I tried this salon because of a Groupon I bought. The first time I went here, the employee acted like I was bothering her by just walking through the door (I did not see any other customers there). She was short and seemed irritated. I let it go assuming she was just having a bad day. The place was clean and they have a decent (not great) selection of beds. I will note that they had just changed the bulbs in many of the beds and I like that. I just went a second time. Again, the place was clean and pretty much empty. This time the employee was someone different. This employee showed no emotion. I did not get a «Hi» or «Welcome». It was just a quick.“Last name”.and «What bed»… Then she said it was ready. That’s it. I am have worked in the customer service industry for over 10 years. So, it is important to me. I don’t mind paying a little more, or driving a little further if it means great customer service. So, after my Groupon is complete I will be returning to the higher priced, further distanced salon. If you like a good price, clean place, and decent beds… then you should try this place. As for me, I am looking for more. That is why I gave it a three.
