Omg… Books. Yes they do still exist and yes if you clap your hands an author gets its wings — or something like that! This place is huge! They pack in thousands of books, graphic novels, CD’s, movies, and even vinyl for your entertainment needs. Needs your caffeine fix? No worries, Barnes and Noble Café is here for you with all the wondrous glories of Starbucks coffee and Cheesecake Factory sweets to jack your system to the roof! They’ve even got a well-stocked supply of magazines in their newsstand area — so grab a copy of Time, get a grandé Americano, and take a seat in the café. You’ll look so hipster that all your friends will be jealous… or at least more anti-hipster than they were before! Oh wait, did I mention they have coloring books, puzzles, and even board games? Because they totally do — and so can you! Come by and grab some coffee — I’m here daily waiting on you to show up!

You can never go wrong with Barnes and Noble. Every time I come, their display tables are organized and really eye appealing. The associates really know where to find all the books, and I even got a membership again, finally!

This is my go — to bookstore. They have EVERYTHING! That can also be a bad thing since i have this impulse to buy everything!

Great selection of books and huge Starbucks inside. This place deserves 4 stars for the friendly staff and the convenient location.

This Barnes and Nobles is nice. However I can only give it two stars because they do not price match. Apparently it is company policy not to price match their own website. It is no wonder people just drop in for Starbucks and keep going. It is cheaper to buy your books online. Not a good idea for them if they want to keep the doors open. Too bad.

It’s amazing what a joke this store is. I could not locate all four books on my list, despite finding other books by the same authors. The customer service desk was empty all three times I approached. I went online to see if maybe I could reserve the books and pick them up at this store, and all four were listed online as «out of stock.» Fair enough. I took one more look and ultimately located one book on my list(in a weird section of the store). Strange — the book was listed as «out of stock» at this location online. B&N, seriously, get your act together.

We seem to be entering a world where everything is heading toward digital now. Music(Goodbye Record/CD Stores), Video(Goodbye Blockbuster), and print media as well. Borders did not survive, but I am glad to see that Barnes & Noble has. I’ll be honest, I do not read often! But on those occasions I am on a long flight, I can use a good book to read. Sometimes the only way to find a good book is to visit a large store like Barnes & Noble and find something you would not have otherwise discovered. Also, a good thing is the Starbucks Coffee Shop area with tables they have inside of Barnes & Noble. On those occasions when I have found the book I want in 5 minutes, but the wife is taking 30 minutes(plus) to find hers, one can be ever more thankful to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee in the meantime. :-)

As a bibliophile, Barnes & Nobles is one of my favorite places to hang out and chill. Nothing better than a Starbucks cup of tea or coffee and a stack of books or magazines to salivate over. If you’re hungry, check out the Cheese Cake Factory Cheesecake, available at Starbucks inside of B & N. Huge selection of books and magazines. Well-organized, clean, great children’s’ collection, and comfortable seating. They even sell reading glasses if you happen to forget your own! What more can you ask for. Oh yeah! Free Wi-Fi! They offer that, as well. Great place to hang out while you wait for your significant other to shop til they drop throughout the mall. Me? I’d much rather spend time surrounded by the literature that I love so much.

I know my fellow Unilocalers gave this B&N a stronger review and maybe it deserves it but I’m basing my rating on my wait for help, which never came so I gave up, and the lack of book choices in areas I was interested in being history and biographies. Both these areas of read were well stocked but not great in regards to variety… even compared to other B&N’s. That said, the coffee shop was efficient and offered plenty of seating. The magazine choices were really good and the restrooms were clean. Still I give 3 Stars.

I’m a huge reader so I’ve been to my fair share of bookstores. I really like this Barnes and Noble a lot. It’s connected to Lynnhaven Mall which means if the girls are shopping and I don’t feel like it I can retire to a soft chair with a good book! This is a clean and well-organized location with very competent staff. You can find just about anything here and if you can’t they can very easily order it for you. They have a large children’s section that I take the girls to relatively often and they love it. Also, I like to read various YA series so I don’t mind it either! It’s also great to have a Starbucks right inside the bookstore. If anything enhances a wonderful reading experience it’s having a cup of steaming espresso at your elbow. I come here often and will continue to do so until the power of Amazon closes chain brick and mortar bookstores!

Lovely store. Outside entrance from lot and inside entrance from the mall. It’s a decent size and nicely spread out from what I used to being in NYC. I don’t remember if there was a Starbucks but most likely there was. Clean space, clean restrooms, knowledgeable staff. What’s not to like?

I love this Barnes & Noble, it’s large and clean with a Starbucks inside and tons of magazines and books. This is my go-to store for a magazine when I need a specific one or when I’m looking for a hard copy of a classic literature book(my favorite). I love that it’s connected to the mall near Dick’s Sporting Good and now Dave and Buster’s. Still, the Starbucks inside is nice with free wifi and they always get a large selection of wall calendars and planners every year so I hit this place up for a few of those yearly. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful and I’ve also purchased a few movies and cds from here but not often because it is REALLY expensive. I did get some cute chess bookends a few years ago though which I absolutely love and get compliments on all the time. I love this place and I hope B&N can hold on against Amazon and not close up shop any time soon! There is something to be said for being able to go in and see and touch the books you want. Sigh — it’s the English major in me, I love the smell of musty books.

Everyone– for the love of God, remember the following and tell all your friends too– the café at Barnes and Noble is a Barnes and Noble Café the sells Starbucks Coffee. Although they make and sell Starbucks products, they are not Starbucks. So in turn, QUITTRYINGTOUSESTARBUCKS’ GIFTCARDSATBARNESANDNOBLE! I only say this because every other time I’m here to get a cup of coffee, the person ahead of me tries to use one and the poor bastard at the register is forced to explain why you can’t use a Starbucks’ gift card here. And then that person has to bumble around in their pockets or purse to find any loose change or bills to pay for their frappacino but winds up handing over a credit card and muttering about how they hate to charge a cup of coffee. People– YOUAREWASTINGPRECIOUSMINUTESOFMYLIFE! Sorry. Had to get that off my chest. The staff here are friendly, I’ve never had a problem finding a book or ordering one from them, and the coffee’s good. It’s the customers that annoy me.

This Barnes and nobles customer service is not very good. We had a movie new in package, and the«manager» would not return it. He actually told us we could take it to a second hand store if we wanted. Really?

You know how when you cross a Cinnabon and you smell the sweet cinnamony fragrance emanating from the stand and you really gotta have one? I think Barnes and Noble does the same. The smell of fresh new books ready to be «read» and wind up on my shelf! I love the fact that they have the Banes and Noble classic section now. There are a bunch of books beautifully bound that you can add to your collection. I haven’t read most of them… probably less than a quarter but I just want them on my shelf! Bad self… I should really learn how to ready.
