Al’s Taxi

I don’t know how else to send you what I found but I hope that you will follow the link below and correct the charge with a refund of $ 458.57. We are still within the 60 days of the transaction. Again like I said before you have my number and can call me whenever to get this sorted out sir. I hope that this can be worked out as quickly as possible because $ 458 dollars is a lot of money for me. Thank you.

Al was prompt, reliable and very friendly. Definitely using him again for our morning airport runs!

Stranded! I called two weeks in advance to the hotel and I was told the hotel uses Al’s Taxi for $ 35. The morning of my flight, I called 7hrs ahead and scheduled a pick up from the airport. The guy told me he would be in an SUV so just call back when the plane landed and he would tell me exactly where to be. When I called, he told me «Yes, you called this morning. I forgot everything about you. I cannot come.» I didn’t understand! I asked for clarification and he told me, «I dropped someone off at the airport and I left. Now, there is too much traffic to come back. I forgot everything about you.» Still in disbelief I asked, «You CAN’T come?» He replied, «I forgot everything about you so just take another cab.»
Because of the price being $ 10 cheaper than the cab I ended up taking, I was going to use him anyway for my return ride to the airport and then write a review. After reading the other reviews, I will pay the extra money and NOT depend on Al!

When it was thunder storming and my hotel shuttle failed to do their job, Al’s taxi service helped me out.
I opened the car door and was warmly welcomed by a man with an uncanny resemblance to Santa Claus (his name is Kelley) and a whiff of Paul malls. While I’m not a fan of cigarette smell, Kelley was so friendly and sweet. He even knocked off some of the fare!
Perhaps the other drivers of Al’s are not as great, I definitely recommend Kelley to help you out in a tight spot.

This was the WORST experience I have EVER had with a Taxi service
I called them for a cab, provided my name and hotel as asked. When the cab showed up the driver took another fare and stranded me. I called the company again, and was told they can send another but it may take about an hour and they couldn’t guarantee it. Someone local was kind enough to give me a ride to the wedding I had to go to. So I did not wait for a replacement.
I decided to give them a second chance, and called at 11 pm to schedule a 4 AM pick up for my flight. 4 AM and no cab. 4:30, no cab. I called them and was told «oh we couldn’t get a driver, after explaining that I have a flight and made a cab call 6 HOURS in advance, I was told «maybe should just call another company»
When the driver came from yellow cab (in less than 10 minutes) and I explained the plight to him, he asked me. «let me guess, you called Al’s Tax?»
That said everything.
Reserve their Taxi’s for your WORST enemies!

I just made reservations to be picked up at my hotel in Virginia Beach on Sunday. I was quoted $ 35 from 33^rd street and Atlantic avenue to the Chinatown bus station 5461 Wesleyan Drive about a 25 minutes drive.
Kelly a.k.a. Santa Claus was very friendly and helpful. He asked me right away if I needed suggestions on things to do in the city. He was very nice.
