Second: We have in business over 12 years in Hampton Roads. We are not looking for growth because our belief is that you receive the best quality move from a mid sized company with full time employees and a dedicated staff. We believe the larger the company, the poorer the quality and that seems to ring true in most cases.

If you look at my previous reviews on moving companies you’ll see my experiences have been horrible. I did a ton of research to find one in the Hampton Roads area that wasn’t a mess.
Thank God I found Absolute!
From start to finish this was a seamless move. The quote was exactly what I paid. The packers were on time and meticulous. The driver was courteous and kept everything moving.
I did have a very small damage, but nothing like I’ve experienced before. Anyone looking for a top notch moving company, I highly recommend them.

For the first time in my life I had to move on my own. The military did it for me for 25 years and it was something I never had to worry about. I took my time and did my research. I saw the great reviews these guys got. Rick Taylor came out and gave us a very good price to move from a three bedroom third floor apartment into a single family home. The move also included a full 10×20 storage unit. The crew was on time and super professional. They worked fast but careful and were punctual. They made what always is a stressful situation into a smooth and worry free day. All my things made it into the house intact and we have been living in our home happily since. Next time I move I won’t bother to search for another moving company, I know I will be hiring Absolute Moving. Thank you guys for the great service and for making me look like a genius for hiring you.

We asked a tall order of Absolute Moving, and they stepped up and performed as true professionals! They were hired to move three homes in Baylake Pines and work with the schedule of two movers on the other sides of the home sales. Jeff personally evaluated the needs of each client, determined the amount of time it would take, quoted competitive prices, shifted personnel to accommodate the needs of the other parties, and ensured that all trucks arrived on time the morning of the big move. Despite the 100+ heat index, the movers were carefully expeditious in loading the furnishings and asked exactly where things went when unloading. There were no complaints from the multiple families that were involved in the move. As a Realtor, I am accustomed to hearing complaints during moves. Not about Absolute! I will continue to confidently recommend them to my clients!

I needed a company to move everything in my 2 bedroom condo to a third floor walk-​up condo. They were available on the day I needed and booked only 3 weeks ahead of time. Three young guys came, right on time. They were pleasant and worked very hard. The move was done in 3 hours. This was my first experience using a moving company and it was absolutely pleasant. It was a very reasonable flat rate. Made the move so much less stressful. I definitely recommend!

Moved across town mid August and Absolute came in with the best price, and even adjusted it when we showed them that we took a LOT of boxes over ourselves prior to the move. The 5 guys who did the move were pleasant, courteous, and they really worked hard. Our only problem was a dining room hutch got scratched, but Absolute sent a woodworker over to fix the scratches, no questions asked. I wish all businesses were like this!!!
