History

Established in 1992.

Vineyard Scripts was opened as the franchise, The Medicine Shoppe, in 1992 by Nellie and David Perzanowski. David has been practicing pharmacy on Martha’s Vineyard since 1981. He and Nellie have extensive experience managing pharmacies on the island prior to opening their own. After the franchise agreement ended in 2008, Vineyard Scripts was born. Today Vineyard Scripts is known for the friendly, courteous, professional, and competent service that sets the bar for excellence in pharmacy.

Meet the Business Owner

David P.

Business Owner

David Perzanowski graduated UCONN School of Pharmacy in 1980. He has worked as a staff pharmacist Pioneer Valley Medical Center in Westfield, MA. He worked on Martha’s Vineyard at The Oak Bluffs Pharmacy, The Triangle Pharmacy, and Edgartown Drug Company. He also managed The Edgartown Drug Company. He is certified in CPR and also certified in Immunizations. Although certified for all Immunizations, Massachusetts law allows for inoculating adults 18 and older with influenza vaccine. Mr. Perzanowski gives flu shots whenever he is at work, at peoples homes or places of work, and by appointment.
