I was trying to buy a a Rainbow Attic ladder from these guys online. I found them through Google shopping. The add presented said «Free Shipping» so I thought, great. I clicked on the link taking me to their website and to my surprise, no free shipping for me. I felt like it was the old bait and switch.
So, I called them directly and was told that Google is the one who put up the «Free Shipping» not them. Yes, because Google goes around making claims about what a business does without their permission, NOT!
In their defense, they were nice enough; however, they refused to honor the free shipping. They wouldn’t even give me a break on shipping. I found the same ladder online for cheaper with $ 125 shipping instead of their $ 179 «free shipping» charge, but that’ not the point. The point is that the add said free shipping. I expect that you honor it or at least make some concession.
In fairness, they did offer me free shipping, if I increased my order from $ 795.08 to $ 3500. Yes, their answer was to increase my order, but he would need to verify that with his shipping manager. Classic!
