I’m not exactly sure why I started going here last year, but my only regret is that I didn’t find it before because there are somethings I just hate having to buy that I have found here super duper cheap. Yes, super duper. I’ve also found some awesome buys that I was surprised to see there. Hot finds: * 40 lb bag of Fresh Step Kitty Litter. $ 10!!! Anywhere else you’ll find it 18 lb box for more than $ 10. * Wilkinson Tech 4 Razors: $ 3 for a razor and extra cartridge that blows away my previously favorite Gillette Mach 3 razor that costs $ 10. The only problem is that you won’t find cartridges in stores for some reason? But, you can order them on Amazon and they are still way cheaper. * A sweater and pullover for $ 10/each that is sold at Nordstrom for $ 80/each. There’s absolutely nothing wrong them and there was an extra bonus that day… half off! $ 5/each afterwards? * Dockers Pants for $ 10! Nothing wrong with them. I had just bought a pair of Dockers D2 slacks on sale for $ 40 a few weeks ago at Carson’s. I just another color and nothing wrong with them. No flaws/defects. You’ll find a ton of coloring books, seasonal items, lessor known toys and a plethora of things that you can justify buying, like the Windshield Wand. It’s an as seen on TV reject that originally sold for 19.99 plus s/h! It was $ 3. Yes, we’ve become a lazy society when we need some stupid car windshield cleaner. I tried it and it made cleaning the inside of your windows easy as can be. Way worth more than $ 3 in mind! You’ll never find dirty windows in my car now! You’ll find a lot of good deals, but there are somethings to avoid. I recommend avoiding the TVs. There’s nothing wrong with them. Some high end Samsungs and some low end brands. They are typically replaced models, which is fine. However, you can go to Best Buy and older models in clearance for cheaper… and get warranty with it. Go explore, have fun and see what you find..

I recall going to the one in River Grove as a kid with my mother one day. Apparently it’s been YEARS so I barely recalled what it was like inside other than a whole bunch of big boxes with stuff inside that was too tall for me see what was in them so decided to visit this one in VP with my wife and see what it was about. With the name of the title you would have to assume there’s going to be some GREATBARGAINS inside. WRONG! Much to my surprise, the prices were NOT great deals. We saw plenty of items that are actually much cheaper at Walmart. So being horribly disappointed at their prices on common household items, we decided to stroll all the way to the left side of the«big open space» of a store to the«electronics» section. I saw the most pitiful looking torn up electronics ONSALE and even worse, for NORMALPRICE. Fred Sanford would’ve had better electronics for sale at his junk yard! Now I absolutely love electronics(almost more than I love my wife at times lol) so what I saw made me sick to my stomach to the point where I almost threw up. At that point I was done«attempting» to shop here. Anyone who seriously think this place has«bargains» need to get out more.

First time visit, and it far exceeded my expectations. Good deals, wasn’t busy at all, friendly cashier, and organized. I was expecting to walk into a jumbled mess and have to dig through boxes to find anything, and it wasn’t like that at all. Curious to see how often the inventory changes over. My favorite purchases: cardigan sweater, $.50 rolls of Xmas paper(and they are big rolls), and a Corningware dish. Seems like Bargains in a Box gets a lot of their merchandise from Costco! I’ll definitely be back!

I was just shopping at bargain in a box, wait in line for 20 minutes while 2 clerks behind the counter are sitting around and only 1 person is working. There is still one more person in front of me… finally a clerk opens another register and they take the person behind me. Needless to say, they can now put my merchandise away. This is no way to run a business.

Pretty good deals on most items. You do have to look though. Suprised to see a lot of name brand items that I wasn’t expecting. Most items on average were 10−20% off compared to major department store chains. Will return
