The owner is extremely rude, bossy, and cold. Worst customer service I have experienced in retail.

The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because the woman that helped me was very nice– she tried to help as much as possible. I did not get a warm greeting when we walked in despite having an appointment. I didn’t like how the dresses were on mannequins– they had to take them off the mannequins for me to try on. I was sent into a small fitting room with no offer to help me get into the dresses. My sister had to come help. There was a mirror in the middle of the store that was shared between myself and other brides. I thought this was weird. The owner woman was not friendly at all! She had an attitude like she was inconvenienced that we walked into her shop. This was our second stop and it put a bad taste in my mouth. Finding your wedding gown should be an awesome experience. I would say, don’t waste your time.

Worst place ever !!! I seriously wasted my time going to this place, the girl who helped us was super cold, rude and had no sense of customer service. I went with my mom and sister and while I was trying on a dress I overheard hear tell my sister «well it’s her wedding and she can wear whatever she wants» I don’t think she realized that my sisters opinion is super important to me and after hearing that I didn’t even want to see anymore dresses. DO NOT GO WASTE YOUR TIME !!! I will never recommend anyone here nor ever go back !!!

This was my first store I went to looking for a bridal gown and I would say the experience was OK. I was assigned a certain person to help me find the dresses and try them on. I showed the girl some pictures and she picked out ones similar for me to try on. I didn’t end up finding my dress here but they did have a nice selection to look through. However I did feel really rushed when trying on the dresses, as the store was very crowded (it WAS a Saturday). It’s worth checking out but I would try to go during the week to avoid a crowd.

These ladies saved my wedding! I came in two weeks before the wedding needing a dress because my dress had been ruined by the seamstress. I found one here and the manager (maybe she was the owner) got it altered, added a bustle, and cleaned with time to spare. I couldn’t believe how amazing they were. Thank you ladies so so much!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Do yourself a favor and don’t let this be the first place you go to– it will ruin your experience. Issues:
1) Cold greeting
2) An attitude of «I don’t feel like helping you» despite the fact that I had an appointment
3) No effort to find out what I was looking for or any recommendations made
4) Dumped me in a small fitting room with no offer to help me into dresses
5) VERY EXPENSIVE!
This was my 2^nd stop– I didn’t even want to try on dresses… I was so turned off but I agreed to try on a few. Their dresses are all VERY SMALL. I am a size 6 in non-​wedding dresses but could not fit any of their samples.
The attendant didn’t even realize I left… Sad I wasted my time there!

I had a great experience here. I came in to look at dresses by myself, the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The selection of dresses is incredible with many designers that are not sold at other bridal shops in the area and the prices are very competitive. I felt very comfortable, I did not feel anyone was pushy in the shop at all. My ONLY negative complaint is that the alterations did not do what I wanted on the upper portion of my dress the first time around (I think she could have done a better job with the consultation the first time) but they fixed it by the second/​final fitting and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this shop to friends and family!

Beautiful beautiful dresses, great display and awesome service. I really enjoyed trying on different styles, even those that I’ve never considered looked good. The girls were very sweet and helpful. They measured me and offered alterations to make a perfect fit even if I’ll loose some weight over the next year. I found my perfect dress — one item out of the list. Woohoo White Swan!

Ladies, do not plan on taking your dress home in a garment bag. Spend thousands and more on alterations just to bring your dress home in a white plastic bag that is tapped at the bottom. Oh and holes on the side of the bag. High end shop until you bring your dress home. Brought my dress home yesterday and my hanger already snapped. Don’t even get me started on the clear plastic garment bag that your dress arrives in, they sent me home with a used one with another girls name on it. The clear garment bag is to bring your dress back in to have it cleaned. Here’s a tip White Swan, provide your brides with a quality garment bag in maybe a tan/​ivory color.

Can I give less than 1 star? This was by far the worst part of my wedding/​wedding planning by far. These women exhibit some seriously atrocious behavior. This unfortunately was the first dress shop I visited and yes I found a dress I loved. It is actually a dress I had seen on Pinterest and didn’t think I would actually be able to find anywhere. It is a Sophia Tolli sheath gown. I tried on the dress and was not sold – as I am about to take it off and leave the owner comes up to me and pulls the dress tight to be fitted as it would be in her words once it was my size. I liked the way it looked and she told me since I was the first person to buy the dress she would give me a discount and personalize the dress to be so I would not have to pay for or get alterations. On my order form the size says «custom» and she sketched the gown exactly as the designer has the gown pictured (
) and she told me it would be custom fit to my body when it came in 6 months later. I made an appointment to pick up the dress and tried it on. It was a size 10. No customizations made. And I am not a size 10 – when purchasing work skirts and dresses I typically by a size 4. I understand that gowns are all different etc. etc., but when someone tells me I am getting a custom fit gown I expect custom fit. I try the size 10 gown on at my APPOINTMENT and there is no one there to help me because there are 4 other brides there. I walk out and my mom looks at the dress acknowledging the large size – I could fit both my arms inside the dress folded against my chest and held down by my hips – it was almost comical. The owner looked over at me and said «Custom fit gown.» No one came to help me or do anything so I packed the dress up and left. I returned with another appointment at a later time hoping to get some service. I showed the seamstress the sketch they gave me and the photo on the designer’s website that they also gave me and told her the dress needs to fit like that. Herself and the owner scolded me saying that I was trying to change the nature of the dress and that it would cost upwards of 950 $ to get the dress to be «fitted» because it is not supposed to be a fitted gown. They then redid my measurements and had a ½″ change in my hips and said it was only so big because I lost weight. Then the owner told me «all you brides come in here and expect to look like the model but you are not a model». I was astounded. Eventually after much arguing between me, my Mom, my Step Mom, my fiancé, my Dad, and the owner and her seamstress they eventually conceded to giving me the alterations for only $ 250 because I still «lost so much weight». She said so many brides expect this dress to be fitted when it is not supposed to be and this always happens – then why wouldn’t she explain to the brides before they bought it? The owner pinned the dress for me the way I wanted it. They had to cut new armholes in the all lace gown because they ordered it so large! While she was pinning the dress she pricked herself and bled all over the right breast area and a few spots on the right hip. We asked them to make sure that is removed. When I return for the next fitting the blood it still there. We give it back and ask them to get it out again. Finally, at my final fitting there is still faint traces of blood on the lace but «there is nothing they can do». The new armholes cut and re-​sewn were sloppy. The lace was just folded over and sewn up – where there was supposed to be flawless fitted 1 layer of lace there was bunched up lace that would not lay flat. The same happened on the back of the dress where they had to take it in several inches because they ordered too large of a size – bunch up folded over lace. The single-​thread beading all over the back of the dress was ripped in several places and beads were falling off all day. In conclusion, they lied to me and told me I would get a custom gown when they just plainly ordered a dress much too large for me, after researching I found they charged $ 700 more dollars for the dress than 2 other boutiques in the area, they charged me $ 250 for alterations because my hips changed ½″ although the dress was reduced in size several inches on every side from shoulder to knee, they were rude and did not seem to even honor their «appointments». I would beg any bride I know not go here even if this is the only boutique with the dress you want. It isn’t worth the pain and suffering. I’m not sure where the good reviews are coming from because I saw at least 2 other brides there on my visits that were crying over their alteration issues. From afar at the wedding, the dress looked nice. Up close it looked like it was falling apart. One good thing, the bustle was solid and held all night.

There were beautiful dresses at this location– lots of choices. However, don’t expect to try any of them on if you don’t fit in a *wedding dress size* 8 or less (street size 6 or less). I was able to squeeze into some of the 8’s but barely. I don’t know who in their right mind would invest thousands of dollars into a dress that they’ve never tried on, but it surely isn’t me. I asked if they’d be getting any other sizes in and was informed that they likely were not. I won’t be back since I have no idea if I like any of the dresses that I think I liked.

I purchased a dress from White Swan and it appears that the dress I purchased and the dress they presented to me for my first fitting are not the same. I bought a beautiful gown from the White Swan, and when I went for the fitting the dress looked horrible. It was looked like it was tinted yellow, was ill fitting, and did not match the picture I was given from the store owner. As a bride-​to-​be this whole experience was terrible. My mom took me and I bought a different dress and will be wearing that one. Today, My mom went to pick up the dress we purchased from White Swan today 8.21.2015. When she asked the sales person to show her the tag and style number she was unable to get it, she could not provide any proof that this was the dress I originally tried on and ordered. There was no tags or style number available for the dress. This should not have shocked me as the day I purchased the dress I could not find it anywhere on the internet when I googled the designer and style number. It is is my impression that the dress they actually gave me was a knock-​off of the dress I tried on. I would highly advise that you do not purchase your gown here. There seems to be some unethical business practices and as a bride purchasing your gown should be an amazing experience. My family and I will be pursuing this with the owner but for all of you potential customers, STAY CLEAR of this place!

I might suggest looking somewhere else.
I walked into this shop not knowing exactly what I wanted and ended up getting railroaded into buying a dress (amid claims of «best price»!) and other items I really didn’t want, spending nearly $ 1,000.
I disliked the dress, the alteration process, and the staff (minus the seamstress Natasha) so much that I abandoned this dress altogether. And I wasn’t a fussy bride by any stretch and that, financially, was one of the most painful experiences of my life. But it had to be done, and I was MUCH happier for it.
There are a billion wedding dress shops out there. I feel fairly confident you can find a better one.

White Swan Bridal has an amazing collection of dresses but unfortunately for me, the majority of the dresses in the style I was looking for, was way over my budget (which was under 1500 including alterations). I found something that I liked but didn’t LOVE, checking online to find out that its hundreds of dollars less expensive. Their alterations are included, leading me to think that if you were to purchase a dress through them, it would almost be like a custom-​fit gown. However, even tacking on the price of an all-​inclusive alterations package of some other bridal salons, it was still more expensive.
My sales consultant was also kind of difficult to work with. Instead of going to find dresses with the features I said I liked, she would pull random dresses and say they can alter anything… even to the point of changing from a fit and flare to a full A-​line. I really think she was just trying to keep me positive about my budget and I don’t doubt their seamstress’ skills because I have no experience, but it was just really hard to envision myself in the dress and take that leap of faith.
For the bride who has a larger budget or maybe likes simpler dresses, this might be a great store for you but I left my appointment feeling very confused.

This shop made my day, and I cannot wait to wear the gown I bought there. My mom and I spent a miserable hour plus at David’s Bridals on Saturday thinking, «This place is a zoo, and these people have no class or customer service.» On Monday, we went to a boutique bridal shop, and there were only four non-​poufy gowns in my size, and the attendant didn’t have the sense to suggest that I try the dresses bigger or slightly smaller than my size. Plus the dresses were mostly over $ 1K.
We escaped to White Swan Bridals, which had sent us a card about their sample sale. The store has a beautiful display of gowns on mannequins and an extensive selection. The gowns upstairs were marked down half-​price to start, and some were marked down another half after that. (The attendants also told us we could possibly negotiate to have on on a mannequin downstairs sold as a sample – if you wear size 10 more or less.) Plus they were all gorgeous designer models. Now we’re talking! There was no one else in the shop that day, and the two attendants, Caitlyn and someone else whose name I didn’t get, were highly knowledgeable and helpful.
I tried on about 10 gowns and fell in love with one by Anjolique that made me look both slender and sexy. I was so relieved since I had gained some weight over the holidays. It was marked half-​price at $ 750, but we bargained the owner down to $ 350. What a dream come true! The shop also did the bustle for me immediately, so I won’t even have to go back. Highly recommended.

This is just my experience at this establishment, and my opinions. Take it as you may…
The concept sounds nice that the dresses are on mannequins, however, they had a smaller selection of gowns that I had expected. I’ve been in other smaller bridal shops with more gown options.
The prices of the dress includes alterations; however, I found it to be outrageously too expensive considering the cost of the bustle is NOT included in that price, only alterations for sizing.
I also did not like that it was up to me and my family to look and choose the gowns to try on. The consultant helped me in and out of dresses; however, she didn’t help to pick out any dresses. How do I know I wasn’t missing something?

I needed a tiara or some sort of hair accessories for a wedding shoot. Searched around the area and found this place. My mom and cousin came with me and uhm, it was a very awkward experience. You could clearly see that it was slow, I.e. workers sitting behind the counter, with the scary-​looking supervisor breathing down their necks that they better do a good job or else, and it was empty… Us three were the only customers in the store and the entire staff team swarmed us. I didn’t like that, especially hated it when the supervisor or manager was over us like a hawk.
I felt sorry for the employees because it seemed they weren’t being treated well.
I didn’t end up buying anything because the accessories looked and felt cheap. Not only that but the supervisor wasn’t too pleased with showing us certain items. Whatever.
She was pushy, didn’t look friendly (nor was), and not letting her staff members do their job. As in, one of them would try to help, but she would butt in to steal the spotlight.
Never coming here.

We had such a great experience here and really enjoyed our time. My best friend decided to visit the store as part of her dress search and she found «the one». I loved how she had the ability to mix and match pieces of dresses to make one that she loved and the owner was extremely helpful and a true visionary. I would highly recommend all brides to be visit the store because you will probably find the dress you’ve been looking for!

White Swan Bridal was the first bridal boutique I visited in the search for my wedding dress. Being very budget conscious I went straight upstairs to the sample sale. I had a few photos of dresses that I liked, but was not set to a certain designer. The assistant pulled a dress from the rack that was a size 12 (I’m closer to a 6 or 8) to give a try because it had several of the design elements I liked. It was the fourth or fifth dress I tried and when we clipped it into place, I just knew it was the perfect one. Thinking that I certainly couldn’t find THE dress in my first stop, my sister and I left and drove to David’s Bridal. We did one loop around that store and rushed back to White Swan. (Sorry by the quality of the fabrics at David’s Bridal leave much to be desired).
Because I purchased the dress there, White Swan also did the alterations. The lady who did my alterations was meticulous in her work. I went to the store at least 5 times over the course of 7 months so she could slowly, carefully make the dress fit my body. She also replaced the top layer of tulle on the dress, as it was slightly damaged when I purchased it. And, one week prior to the wedding one of the assistants steamed the dress.
My fittings were always on schedule. My dress was ready by the date they stated. I felt beautiful and comfortable in my dress.

I bought my dress here almost a year ago, and never wrote a review. I came back to the page today because I found out that since my dress was purchased at the store, they will steam it for me for free. Being that getting it steamed somewhere else would cost me around $ 100, this was a big deal in my (very close to the wedding) budget. So I decided to come write a review. I’m surprised to see the bad reviews, because my experience with the shop was a very pleasant one.
I read some of the bad reviews and one of my guesses is that some of those people did not have an appointment. I did, and when we arrived we were told to start going through dresses and someone would be with us soon (I was looking exclusively at the clearance dresses upstairs).
Soon after we picked a few dresses we met our girl who showed us to a fitting room. I wish I could remember her name because she was fantastic. Even when my mother-​in-​law was trying to set her up with her son, she was still very pleasant and kind to her. We can be a loud, rowdy crew and she played right along and fit in well.
They let us have our own little party upstairs with cheese, crackers a veggie platter and champagne. It was such a fun day and I’m so glad I went here instead of David’s Bridal like most people do. It was a unique experience and I felt the staff was very accommodating.
Another theme in the bad reviews seems to be the cost of alterations through the shop. I only had them redo the lining in my dress because it cut off and you could see it and it looked bad. They charged me $ 200, but for a $ 600 dress I was completely fine with my dress being a total of $ 800. And the work was fabulous. I then used my own seamstress who took the dress in for me for an insanely low price.
So, after just finding out that they will steam the dress for free, I had to come give them a good review. It was a great day that I was able to make fun memories with my mom, mother-​in-​law to be and sister. And now I’ll be wearing the dress in just 18 days!
