It was good but i would have liked my pita a little bit softer. I got the gyro pita. I also would of preferred if the yogurt sause they used was a little thinner, it was on the thick side.

Friendly service for a fast food place. I liked the Chicken gyro(on wholewheat pita) and will need to come back to try some of the other«perfect» items they have on their menu. Definitely good food for little money.(:

Meh, nothing special. For the price, I’d wished my pita was more customizable. They bake/broil the pitas to the point where they are almost crunchy. The pita is big, but the when you take into account the price with the quality, you can get something better at plenty of other pita places around. I got the chicken pita– nothing worth writing home about.

This place is wonderful! Their gyro meat is perfect, not too salty like some other places in town. They it serve inside a warm pocket pita and give you a nice helping of white sauce on the side. The staff is very kind and helpful as well :)

The pitas were wonderful and the lady was very helpful. Prices were around $ 7 for a nice large pita sandwich. Inside seating is small and very hot but they do have outside seating.

This place isn’t bad, but for the price I feel like I get more at other places. I got the gyro pita, and paid 2.99 for double meat(Total was about 10 bucks). They def putt double meat, but the meat was dry. It tasted like it was nuked in the microwave. The bread, and veggies were great. I feel like for the price, I could take a drive 10 – 15 mins from my office to mom & pop shop place down 123. Juicy Gyro, their regular portion was about the same as Perfect Pita’s double portion. No comparison. Convenient, close to work, but lacking in taste. Don’t see myself going again, unless someone is treating me.

Not too bad, but they don’t put the pita together in front of you which many other pita places do and they don’t mix the ingredients, meaning one bit was falafel, the next was only vegetables, etc. Only a few tables, so best for carry-out.

Great neighborhood pita place. I’ve liked everything I’ve tried, except their baklava(dry, needs more honey). The hummus and their pitas are great! I haven’t tried their salads yet, but I plan too. I generally eat there every week.

Food: Loved it: Enormous gyros that taste great. The habanero chips are also really good haha but they pack a punch for someone not used to eating spicy. I have nothing else to say really other than keep up the good work! Service: Man behind the counter when I went for the first time was super friendly and explained everything to me. The only reason I am taking a star away is because the food took 10 – 15 minutes to come out… doesn’t make sense for a gyro. Environment: Tiny place that can easily get packed… its literally a 20 by 10 foot rectangular waiting room with a few chairs. Not pretty, but gets the job done.

Stumbled upon while waiting for an oil change in car dealership. Really good place, one of the best pitas. I wish this place was close to my work. Perfect for lunch.

There are many many far better options in the area. Taste was not good(falafel pita) and workmanship was far worse. I’m from the Mideast and a falafel should never be soggy. The fact that this place has a 4 star rating is unbelievable.

I went here for the first time today. The jalapeño hummus was very good but the plain hummus was not nearly as tasty. They were both a different consistency than what I am used to(a bit on the runny side) but nevertheless it was still great. The gyro was good. We had a great lunch and the people working were very helpful. However the seating was definitely limited. Edit: The first time we came it was not a lunch rush. The second(and more recent visit) was during lunch rush. They rushed the food and it did not taste quite as good and service was mediocre during this time because they were more focused on getting as many people in and out as possible. We still enjoyed our lunch but could not ask questions about menu items.

I work across the street of the one in Westwood Center Drive. Perfect Pita is My favorite place to grab breakfast and lunch. Freshness is how i can describe it… The cheese, egg, spinach pita is very satisfying… they also have croissant and bagels which you can order for a group especially for meetings… i also love! Love! Love! Their chocolate pound cake. Its delicious. Then lunch i order the following: Steak and cheese Pita which is very lite but fills in your tummy and its delicious that you wont fill bloated like other food joints. The Gyro is good as well. You dont get that after taste of lamb in your palate… its cooked tastefully clean I also like their pita bread its soft, tasty and they have a variety of hummus. My favorite is the jalapeño cheddar hummus :)

The only thing going for this place is that it’s a quick, easy lunch if you work nearby. Other than that, the pitas, while a good concept, fall short — runny hummus, relatively tasteless sandwiches. But the icing on the cake is the staff. Rude and not competent. If you want a breakfast pita, be sure you’re buying one for someone else too, because they refuse to allow credit card payments for purchases less than $ 5. But there’s not even anything else to buy WITH the breakfast pita to bring the total above $ 5! Not even coffee! Dude, what? There are better options within steps, including Shamshiry and Paisano’s.

Falafel hummus veggie pita sandwich makes for a filling meal. The falafel crumbles apart easily and wasn’t spiced too heavily. My lunch buddy had the regular falafel pita and finished the whole thing pretty quickly. The hummus option had my hands covered in the stuff and slowed my progress considerably; the extra veggies were just a few pieces of red peppers. I’d recommend getting the regular and also adding a side of hummus since it’ll end up at the same price. The prices are very reasonable; a great value for fast food. Though seating might be limited during peak hours, Perfect Pita is still a perfect lunch option.

I have been to this Perfect Pita several times as well as the Alexandria location on King Street. If you are a fan of flavored hummus this is a place for you. My favorite has been the jalepeno hummus, with roasted red pepper next. I have tried each variety and the only one I didn’t care for was the black olive hummus. Each ½ tub of hummus comes with just one pita, and I would suggest Perfect Pita include an additional one(but additional ones are cheap). I have the turkey pita and the gyro and both have been very good. You can substitute hummus on the pita in lieu of mayo and this is what I always do. If you go in during the week they have a sample platter that you can taste the different varieties of hummus, but the place can get pretty congested if you go during noon time.

So happy Perfect Pita has decided to expand! When I worked in Alexandria, I would go to the one on Fairfax St. all the time. In fact after I left my job in Alexandria on my days off, I’d drive to Alexandria for some lunch. I’m so happy they opened in Tysons, it’s close to me and open on Saturdays, YIPPEEE!!! I have probably tried all of the pita sandwiches other than the beef, I don’t do beef. The pita is always perfect, hence the name and the filling always fresh and tasty. I never get mayo on the sandwiches, I always substitute with hummus. Speaking of hummus if you haven’t tried it, you are missing out! My 6 yr olds like it too, they tried TPP for the first time on Saturday and instantly became fans.

When I was first invited to lunch by a coworker of mine to The Perfect Pita, I wasn’t really struck by the exciting idea of having pitas for lunch but more struck by the fact that a business would be so daft as to dub themselves *the* perfect pita. Hmm. I’ll let my tastebuds be the judge of that one. I rolled up with cubemate to TPP and it’s definitely a place that you’d want to order takeout since there isn’t a whole lot of room for sitting down and nom nom nomming your pitas. There are only 3 or so round tables inside(can probably seat about 5 people each) and about 2 tables outside that can accommodate 3 people each(but if it’s freezing cold outside, bank on those being put out of commission). One good thing about this place is that it’s vegetarian-friendly. While I’m not actually vegetarian, it at least gives my veggie coworkers some options. I tried the falafel hummus pita(sans onion) and it was divine, all for under $ 9(including a bag o chips and a drink). Hummus and falafel over a bed of shredded lettuce– quite tasty. So is The Perfect Pita really *the* perfect pita? In the famous words of the Kool Aid Man: «ohhh yeahhhhh».
