Papa John’s Pizza

Went here and it stunk. You should probably not come here seeing that it is full of rude ass people.

Currently not happy with them. My pizza was ruined before it arrived for the third time in a row and the butter to the garlic knots was spilled covering everything. My shirt is covered with grease and so is my kitchen. I don’t know why this keeps happening when they’re only a block away. Not impressed. I think I’ll order from someplace else from now on.

The drivers from this location refuse to come up to your condo if they need to call and get in. This has happened to me repeatedly. I have little ones so this is especially frustrating. Tonight was the final straw. I wont be ordering from them again — way too many options to deal with nonsense.

Avoid this location if you have another store that will deliver to you. They are sooooo cheap with their ingredients. I order a pizza a few days ago. It was with regular sauce and 1 topping. There was very little sauce and barely any sausage. I’ve complained about this store and an area manager contacted me. Doesn’t look like he’s able to fix this store.

If i could id give a 0 like most people sAy. The «manager» who is hispanic has always been very very rude and i just got fed up and never went back. I even complained to the store manager about him and he never did anything about it. Usually the other workers were very nice but i choose to go where they treat me with respect. There were many orders that were wrong and he just wouldnt fix them. I go to the papa johns on lawyers rd. Totally different, they usually get my order right and if they dont they dont argue with you as if youre lying… they just fix it. I know mistakes happen so that is why i choose to go all the way to lawyers rd instead

This place was great! I’m not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from because yes, it is still «Papa Johns» quality, but all things considered I had a great experience here. Ricardo helped me order/​checkout and was extremely nice. I later saw that he was the manager so maybe that is why. Anyways, great place and great experience.

NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN. If I could give a 0 stars for this place I would. I am completely mind blown at the terrible service of this papa johns. We had ordered on the phone around 9:15pm and we had it delivered to our apartment. When the pizza delivery guy arrived he had the wrong order. We believe he gave our order to another customer instead so we figured he would go back and redo the order. We waited approximately another 40 minutes and decided to call to see what was going on. We called and it took them quite some time to figure out the situation and instead of apologizing for their mistake they said there is nothing they can do and there is no discount. If it was our mistake and we have the wrong address or something i wouldn’t be upset, but it’s the fact that this establishment couldn’t even own up to their mistake. Seriously papa johns it’s not that hard to say sorry.

If zero were an option, I would have picked it. Rude service. Poorly made pizzas. They should lose their franchise. But with any luck, they will go bankrupt first.

I just received my online order for pizza and it was not sliced. Honestly, when I want quality in a pizza service, I expect that they don’t bother to slice it. Obviously, I order pizza so I can slice it myself. Thanks for being trendsetters Papa Johns McLean. I eagerly anticipate never ordering from you again.

James the counter clerk is very rude– when their burned crust was delivered I had to call and actually take over the photos the next day for manager, scott to see– under the crust was all burned out and black– they said it was not their pizza like their name was written over each pizza– I had a receipt ! really bad store !
This is what happens when corporate has no way to keep control of their quality control. what a shame.

I always get carry out from this place since it is relatively close to my home. The pizza is always piping hot that way.
I agree with the other review. The cheese ratio is not very good. I always order extra cheese, and I feel like it is regular cheese. Cheese must be expensive these days.
Anytime I order a ‘works’ or multiple toppings when they have a special running, I don’t get a pizza full of toppings, but a few scattered toppings. That I agree.
Overall, the pizza is piping hot. It is delicious. The garlic dipping sauce could be heated up to be more of a oil than a goo. I think they changed that recipe from many years ago to a creamy sauce than a liquid oil.
Either way, the place smells great when getting take out. According to the website, this is an award winning location.

BARF! For those who have not had Papa John’s before, stay away. This is the worst pizza known to mankind. The sauce is disgusting, the cheese is revolting and they put a big pepper in the pizza box and makes the whole thing smell like vinegar or something. ICK! This is my parents’ Papa John’s, and the only reason they order from there is that the Domino’s delivery guy ALWAYS has problems finding the house, and they are too lazy to venture out to Pizza Hut or Harris Teeter. I hate it and even my parents admit that it is «just OK» pizza.
I have a particular bitterness against this place since Papa John’s basically ruined a pizza eating contest for me. I am a MASTER pizza eater if I like the pizza, but at a pizza-​eating contest at my school they advertised Dominos, I got there, it turned out to be PAPA JOHNS. It was very hard to get this garbage down my throat and we lost our pizza-​eating contest. BLEGH!
There have been several situations where I have been offered free Papa John’s pizza and have refused to take it. Thats how bad this place is. BARF!

Ordered twice in about 6 weeks and both were terrible! The first order was SO bad — NO extra cheese and no pepperchinos and no garlic sauce! The second order was free bc of the first order and the pepperchinos were 2 really small scrawny terrible pepperchinos and another subpar pizza. I don’t think all PaPa John’s are bad, but for some reason, this store is really terrible. Don’t waste your money at this store!
