We believe it is important to get to know our patients so we can treat their dental needs in light of their overall physical and emotional health. We do not over-​schedule patients so that we have time to discuss their treatment and activities.

Our office uses modern, state-​of-​the-​art technology to enhance patient comfort and to help you get the smile you deserve! We now have digital x-​rays that transmits the image directly onto a computer monitor. This larger image helps the patient understand the doctor’s explanations more easily and enables the doctor to «zoom in» on a specific area of the tooth. An important advantage to this new technology is that it reduces the amount of radiation by 90%.

Our services include general dentistry, dental implants, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics (invisalign), teeth whitening, crowns, root canals, crowns and more.

We also just implemented the use of iPads in the office to educate and entertain patients

History

Established in 1975.

Over 35 years ago Dr. Jack Kannar founded the Practice with the idea of providing individually tailored excellent dentistry in a peaceful atmosphere. He felt the patients would be most comfortable in an attractive free standing Cape Cod house modified for a health care facility, where they could feel at home and not rushed. Dr. Kannar retired after owning the practice for 30 years.

In this comfortable environment, we welcome both new and continuing patients. Today, we carry on the tradition of homeyness while staying on the cutting edge of Dentistry.

Dr. Silveus loves the private practice of dentistry and was very pleased that the office was recognized by peers to be considered at «Top Dentist» by Virginia Living Magazine. He is intellectually stimulated by the new products and techniques which are constantly being introduced. He enjoys the multi dimensions of dentistry from working with children, straightening teeth with Invisalign, root canals to the complexity of restoring a patient’s mouth with full compliment of implant retained teeth.

Dr. Donohue has been providing excellent dentistry for the Practice’s patients for over 20 years. He offers a full compliment of dental procedures and building upon a solid periodontal (gum) foundation for his patients’ dental and overall health. He is consistently recognized as a «Top Dentist,» because of his passionate commitment to delivering state of the art dental treatment.
