I am going to Ascend for post-​op recovery of rotator cuff surgery. The whole Ascend team is great! Administratively they are very easy to work with to schedule and change appointments, and there are lots of options for appointment times. The PT team is knowledgeable, does the right amount of pushing to help my recovery without going to far, and has done a great job on keeping my surgeon updated on progress. My regimen has progressed with a good mix of working on my range and starting to bring in strength. Plus, they are all very nice people, get along well, and seem to really enjoy their job! I am way ahead of my recovery schedule due to their great guidance!

Ascend deserves every one of their five stars! They are located in a small older building in Vienna, but the staff is the best and the vibe is upbeat and friendly. I had a pretty bad rotator cuff tear with a stubborn post-​surgery recovery. Kim was masterful in getting me back on a healing track. They are knowledgeable, focused and determined to get results. Although there is plenty of technology — ultrasound, laser, software, etc., — it is the friendly atmosphere and human touch that make the place so special.

I’ve been going to Nancy for several years, for a variety of ankle issues and most recently for severe neck and shoulder pain — and she’s been a godsend! Following Nancy’s excellent treatment and prescribed exercise régime, I have been able to avoid additional surgeries — exactly what one wants to achieve.
Nancy and her Team are all super to deal with; they are very flexible while maintaining extremely high levels of professionalism, and they’re very caring too! I would recommend Ascend Physical Therapy Physiotherapy to anyone looking to be treated like a real person needing help (unlike other groups in the area, who treat you like a number). As other reviewers have also stated, I won’t go anywhere else!

I found Ascend Physical Therapy & Wellness by searching on the Internet for cold laser therapy.
I have been working with Nancy and her staff for 12 visits. Very positive and friendly environment for treatment.
I have torn plantar plate and metatarsal pad. Exercises, stretching, KT Tape combined with cold laser treatment has accelerated my recovery process. I am seeing positive results.
I would recommend for physical therapy.

I’ve been going to Nancy for a few years, for several different issues. She is by far the best physical therapist I’ve ever been to. She listens to her patients, and obviously cares about their wellbeing. She works with you to find the best exercises that you are comfortable performing with as little pain as possible. I have recently been going for bulging disks in my lower back, and she’s definitely helped me improve my balance and core strength, and reduced the pain. I also have an old ankle injury that Nancy treated me for. She’s done nothing but bend over backwards to help alleviate my ankle pain, even after the doctors said I’d just have to live with the pain.
I highly recommend Nancy and Ascend Physical Therapy. Everyone is very nice and knowledgable, and they all genuinely care about the patients. I won’t go anywhere else!

I have severe scoliosis, as well as neck issues and have been to more Physical Therapists than I ever wanted to! But as long as I live in this area, Nancy is the only person I feel comfortable going to. She is very knowledgable and uses great techniques to strengthen my muscles. She is very personable. I look at my sesions at her practice as my personal time off /​spa sessions! Yes! This is how good it feels! ;)

Nancy is the best! I found her online and went in with a random diagnosis from a podiatrist. She was able to figure out the real problem and has done an excellent job at alleviating the discomfort, as well as provide relevant exercises to keep me in best health. She’s got a fabulous bedside manner and her office is pristine! Highly recommended, as well!
