Arthur Yin Fan, CMD, PhD, LAC

I went to Dr. Yin Fan as I was 1-​day past my due date and wanted to naturally induce labor. As a previous poster mentioned, I’m not sure if it was the acupuncture, but I was not making progress on my own, and much to my (pleasant) surprise, went into labor 8 hours after my treatment. My labor went quickly as well. Dr. Yin Fan was great, and I’d highly recommend his services!

I cannot recommend Dr. Fan more highly. I tore 98% of my ACL two years ago while skiing and was scheduled for surgery to replace the torn tissue. The extent of the damage was confirmed by an MRI and the fact that my knee kept collapsing when baring any weight if I didn’t have it in a brace. Several months prior to the surgery, I went to Dr. Fan to help me with the pain in my knee. It turns out he did more than that. On the day of the surgery I came out of my procedure in 20 minutes versus the required 90 minutes. When I asked why it took so little time, my orthopedic surgeon said they did not have to replace my ACL because it had almost completely healed on its own. He went on to say that this is highly unusual, particularly for a middle-​aged female, and that in his 30 year career he has only witnessed this occurring in one other patient. I’m convinced that the acupuncture performed by Dr. Fan and an aggressive course of PT, stimulated the blood supply needed to encourage the healing of my ACL tissue and regaining the full use of my knee. For the past year I have not had any further issues and have returned to my normal activities including running 3 – 4 miles regularly and skiing. Thank you Dr. Fan!

I got whip-​lashed in a car accident and herniated 2 disks in my neck. The doctors all prescribed medicine and even surgery to alleviate the pain. My neck and back were swollen from the accident. I even lost my job as a nurse because I wasn’t able to lift significant weight anymore. I spent many days and nights crying on the floor due to intense pain.
I ended up visiting Dr. Fan multiple times over a 8 week period and the acupuncture, cupping and herbal pills all helped to alleviate 95% of my problems. I am virtually pain free today with little or no lingering issues and I am able to lift heavy objects again in my new job!

I had a car accident where I got whiplash and I couldn’t turn my neck all the way and instead of taking meds the hospital prescribed, I went 5x the first week and 3 times the next week and felt so much better. Dr. Fan has a gentle, wise nature that puts you instantly at ease and the acupuncture had an immediate effect as I had never gone to one before. The needles were applied with some electrical currents to stimulate the areas and by the last few sessions, it would be so relaxing I would fall asleep. I highly recommend him if you need acupuncture as he is very knowledgeable of herbal remedies as well. Now I’m having my boyfriend go this week for his arthritis!

I have always had back problems due to herniated disks and extremely bad inflammation and I found Dr. Fan and he has been excellent to me. He is very compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, caring and very polite and nice to every client that goes into his practice. After almost a year of being his patient, I can say I have no longer suffer from back problems, inflammation, anything at all.
All the times I went into his office basically bent over because I couldn’t stand up straight, I walked out of there like nothing happened to me at all. No pain, nothing– like magic. His assistant, April, she was also a sweetheart too and very funny (hopefully, she is still there).
I owe Dr. Fan my pain free life now and the freedom of being able to wake up everyday being able to do everything normally with no fear of pain coming back.
