AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Do not go to this Aamco! The awards on the walls are not theirs. The new owners just too over in April 20 015. They held our car hostage for 2 months. We took it in for a simple coolant leak. They didn’t even check that in the diagnostic. They replaced our gasket seals. Then all of a sudden we had a radiator crack. We couldn’t get financed. So we let them hold our title for the work. After a month and a half we still didn’t get our truck, even though one contract said they would give us our truck after they fixed and delivered our truck. All of a sudden they do not want to honor that. They want to honor a credit (ie.) Finance contract which says nothing about holding our title. Today we had AAA tow our truck home and there is a new one. Which still states we brought it in for a coolant leak and the tranny was fine. Don’t go here. This is my review and the BBB is my next stop for these sheisters

I brought my relatively low mileage vehicle in for a diagnostic check on the transmission. It was making a real funny sound. I was able to come on without an appointment and drop off my car. I was contacted later in the day by Prisma the office manager. She explained in great detail that the techs did find a issue with my transmission. She explained some options I had. Needless to say it being a newer vehicle with a CVT transmission all avenues were expensive. She suggested I bring the car to the dealer. She noted the low miles and suspected they would be willing to help. I bought the car used and did not really think they would help. Come to find out the original owner purchased an extended warranty which was transferable. Prisma saved me close to several thousand dollars with her advice. The diagnostic at AAMCO cost me nothing. It actually saved me more than you know. Thanks Prisma and AAMCO.
