So I personally have never been to Grumpy’s goat shak the food may be great but my wife went to music on main this Thursday and decided to grab a bite to eat afterwards when presenting her ID so she can have a beer the owner of the establishment was to put it lightly extremely rude said that her photo looked like she was a coke head and made fun of her teeth all mixed in with sexual innuendo this may just be my personal opinion but I don’t care if it’s the best five star restaurant in the world any restaurant with that type of service should be shut down on that merit alone I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you like being treated like crap I wish there was a negative star rating but unfortunately they haven’t added that yet

hard working people but my guess is they work so hard they are tired. and grumpy. But it is on the name of the dive, so I guess it’s not a surprise. But when spending my limited money out here in this neck of the woods, I always appreciate someone that appreciates my patronage too.

Burger sucked, guy was a dick. Flys on the plates… Not recommended! The menu is written in poor dry erase marker and asking questions about the menu seemed like I was asking for their first born child.

My husband and I dropped in for a frosty bev and ended up staying for dinner and dessert! Such a great little place! The prices were reasonable and the food was delish! We really enjoyed visiting with the locals and Luz the owner was charming! Well be dropping in a few more times!

We were on our way from West Yellowstone to Grand Teton National Park. We had been looking for a place to grab a bite, but nothing had peaked our interest. When passing through Victor, I spotted a Vienna Beef Hot Dog sign. We turned the car around, and arrived at Grumpy’s Goat Shack.
The owner of the place really knows his hot dogs. They dogs are grilled on a Panini grill, which cooks them quick, and gives them a little crunch. He has several regional choices on the menu, such as Chicago Dog, North Carolina Dog, etc. You can also have it any way you want. We enjoyed the simple yet delicious offerings that the Grumpy Goat Shack offered. If we are ever back in the area, we’ll stop in again for sure.

Ladies’ worn underwear hung on the ceiling? No thanks, I don’t want chlamydia dripping in my plate. Seriously though, it’s a shack, but not one of those cool, hidden shacks. It’s a true dive with not much of a good menu and certainly no good service.
