Enjoyed the food! They have some good salads, and the HUGE ice cream cake is always great! But one time I tried to order the kids pizza because i wasn’t very hungry and i was with a group, and the waiter gave me the hardest time about it, and he ended up grabbing the manager– and the manager said it was okay!!! Im not sure why he made such a huge fiasco about the whole thing, he gave me attitude and everything! I am very disappointed with the costumer service, many of the waiters are unfriendly and grumpy. but the food is good and it is a great place to watch the game because of all of the TVs.

Awesome place to watch a game, a ton of tv’s and the food is really good. The best part about the place has to be the employees, some of the nicest waitstaff and bartenders out there!

Great place to gather with friends and watch all the games on their huge multiple TV screens! Large spacious bar with lots of seating both at the bar and high tables nearby. Drink selection is surprising really great… Try their LONGIRISHTEA… (Jameson Irish Whiskey. Absolut Citron Vodka. Sauza Gold Tequila. Triple Sec. Fresh Sour Mix. Pineapple Juice. Sprite. Orange juice) delicious! They offer a few different MARGARITA’s here: blackberry, champps house, PATRÓNMARGARITA(the best) They offer the normal bar appetizers, really liked their mozzarella sticks. Hot cheesy and fresh. I’ve had their wedge salad, always a great choice. Bacon cheeseburger is really good and always cooked to my preferred med well. Main reason I go here with friends is for the atmosphere during football season, cold drinks, hot apps and loud games!

On the positive side, the place is huge so there was no wait when we arrived and the hostess was accommodating to allow us to chose seating. Our server was attentive and helpful. My husband ordered his usual burger and was pleased. I ordered the ahi tuna tacos and they were served stone cold so I sent them back. When these returned 10 minutes later, they were still cold and I should have refused them but hubbie was eating as slowly as he could and I was not assured that they’d get it right eventually. BTW, I know ahi is cooked ever so slightly but these tacos were served on a uncooked tortilla(rubbery), the slaw was limp(day old) and the tuna that I picked out with my fork to nibble on was stone cold grizzle. Even the side of mango salsa had the look of fruit that’s been left uncovered in the fridge; you know those brown edges and loss of color that chopped fruits and veggies get – yeah like that. The worst fish tacos that I ever had.

Awesome interior and ambiance. The bathroom is very nicely designed and super clean as far as the look and smell. Bathroom cleanliness says a lot about a place to me. For me you can never go wrong with a dim interior with recessed lighting. The red accent walls are the perfect back drop for the red booth setting and wood chairs. I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich itself was just ok but the fries were seasoned to perfection. Being in Rochester and noticing how many of the restaurants do not appear to believe in seasoning I really appreciate the flavor. Tastey. Very friendly service which is always very important to me. The bathroom is very nicely designed and smells like scented candles are burning without actual burning candles. It was clean and free of paper on the floor which lets you know it’s well maintained. For some reason when I see a dirty bathroom I always imagine the kitchen is dirty so I like seeing clean and well maintained restrooms. Overall it was a nice experience and I will go back.

We ordered the Chips and queso for a appetizer, it was exactly that. They do a great job on the queso. For lunch I got the firehouse burger with waffle fries and a side of queso. It was a ok burger after adding more bbq sauce. Our waitress was great. She was quick and was on top of things. The only problem i had was the amount of waiters/waitresses standing around. We were sat close to the prep area and overheard everything, including a couple F bombs. At one time i counted 9 waiters/waitreses standing less that 10 feet from me. Ive worked in numerous restaurants. When you are not busy, you clean. There is always something to clean.

Great place for a quick bite to eat and to watch a game. I’m never disappointed with my food and was ecstatic when the chipotle burger came back on the menu. I visit this place a few times a month. I would always suggest well any thing, you won’t be disappointed. As far as service goes if its hectic busy the server is most likely serving a lot of tables. Therefore just be understanding; you’ll still get your food on time and every time. If its not busy the service is on par. The place can get a bit noisy at times.

I came here with a friend for a leisurely holiday lunch before heading into the mall. The service was extremely slow and for no obvious reason. The food was OK. Had the mega pretzel, very good. The server forgot to leave the blue cheese off my salad entrée. She also failed to clean off or bus the table at all so we had our app, lunch plates, and dirty soda glasses left on the table for the duration of the meal. We were really disappointed in how slow the service was and how long we were left waiting. Also, when she brought our check, she forgot to bring or offer a pen so we had to wait longer to hail her down again so we could add the gratuity to the charge.

This place is home to the Fire House Burger. It is to die for. I highly recommend it!

Large space with much ambient noise from people talking and TVs makes this a good place to bring kids. Menu isn’t extensive but has enough variety to satisfy most hungry mall shoppers. Even though it was a busy night our server was prompt and attentive with multiple check ins. Prices were reasonable but watch out for the drink prices — obviously where they make their money. Will we go back? Definitely.

I’m a fan of their steak fajita tacos! Large screen TVs everywhere! You can watch several channels from every seat in the house. Great place to watch the games! Free wifi too! Large bar for those wanting to hang out!

My food was fast and hot. Salad greens were a little brown on the edges. The waitress in the bar area was great! She was at the table as soon as I finished my beer to ask me if I wanted another one.

My go-to place when I want/need a quick bite to eat! Stopped by today with my daughter(we were famished). While I sent her to restroom to wash up, the waiter stopped by with menus. I ordered drinks and an order of «mile high nachos» and a side of French fries(keeping it healthy today). Our food was on the table in less than 10 minutes! Nachos, as always, were perfectly cheesy with chopped tomatoes, scallions, and red pepper(I think). We also had sour cream/guacamole(meh) and salsa on the side. Huge portion to split Fries were lousy. Overly salted and served in a large bowl that they barely covered the bottom of the bowl… We had ordered, eaten, paid the bill and were out the door in thirty minutes(exactly what we wanted from this visit) Service was great … Go for the NACHOS

I was actually pleasantly surprised by my last visit to Champps. We decided to go head there for the USA World Cup game, and literally every TV in the whole place was showing the game. This created a great atmosphere! There were $ 2.50 beer specials and $ 5 app specials on weekdays from 5 – 7. We got the BBQ chicken flatbread; it was DELICIOUS. The service was great — attentive, but not pushy … even when we basically stopped ordering for the second half of the game(gotta drive home, after all). They have a few dishes labeled«Under 650 Calories» — always helpful! — and a skinny cocktail or two on their menu, but I didn’t give any of these a taste this time. Eastview is a bit of a hike from my place, so I won’t head out here for dinner anytime soon … but I’ll definitely think of Champps the next time there’s a large group of us who want to watch a sporting event.

We met some family here for dinner. It’s pretty big inside. Lots of tables and lots of TV screens with all different sports playing. The service was very good. A couple different people brought our food but not our waiter so you had to call out which was yours. The portions are very generous. The food is really good and the prices pretty reasonable. It got pretty busy and a little noisy but not too bad. I would certainly go here again.

Champps is always excellent. All the food is fresh made and all the games you want to watch are on the TV covered walls. Love it here !!!

My wife and I went to Champp’s for my cousins birthday party. We sat in the private room which was nice for this particular occasion. I was pleasantly surprised by very good service, a nice atmosphere and a very good entrée. I’ve avoided this place and all places chain, but when you’re at Eastview Mall this is a solid choice. You can read my review of The Distillery across the road. Champp’s is much better. For starters we ordered the Queso, salsa and chips that we shared with the table. It was about what you’d expect from a place like this. It was probably poured out of a can. The cheese was rather bland, the salsa saved it with the spicy heat, and the chips were crispy and fresh. I think they could put a little more effort into this dish by sprinkling a little chihuahua or using Monterey Jack. Also offer chorizo for an up charge. I bet it would sell well. Kids would love it the way it is but if you’ve ever had really good qeuso, I’d skip this one. My wife and I both ordered seared rare Ahi fish tacos. Three came with an order with a good amount of rare tuna. The sauce was creamy yet spicy and the salsa that came with it also had a nice kick to it. I’m a heat freak and was surprised at how spicy hot this dish was. If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen. That’s about it. If at the mall and hungry, I’d probably eat here again. The service was great and the food was about as good as any other chain restaurant. I got out of there after tip for $ 46 and we both had a drink.

I really enjoy Champps when we go. The pasta dish I always get, which is the Vodka Farfalle dish, I continuously and always look forward to getting. The service is fast, efficient, and kind. The prices are fair and the portions are large. I can never finish my dish. The salads are HUGE. For a chain«sports bar like» restaurant(near a mall especially); Champps is about as good as you’re going to get. The atmosphere is fun, the service is good, and food has yet to disappoint me or my family

After our wine tasting, we decided to stop at Champs for a quick lunch. Apparently it’s a chain sport restaurant? There were dozens of big screen tv mounted with every football game imagined being shown. This place was packed and yet we were able to get a seat immediately for the 5 of us. I wasn’t particularly hungry so my girlfriend and I split a chipotle burger with sweet potato fries. The three guys each got stuffed burger, another chipotle burger and the Kobe beef sliders. The food came out surprisingly fast and the service was on point. The fries were perfectly seasoned and stayed crunchy throughout. I didn’t try the burger since I was stuffed from breakfast but judging that my friends devoured theirs in one sitting, they must had been good. They were also giving away raffle tickets to every person who ordered an alcoholic drink. My group of friends didn’t win anything but it was fun watching those who did. Nice ambiance and overall satisfying dining experience. Will definitely return to try their burgers when I’m less stuffed.

Champs is a decent sports bar. For starters, I’m not a fan of chains, but this one is pretty decent. I’ve been here several times in the past. I feel like I don’t really know what to say. Everything is decent, not great, but not bad. Nachos are pretty good. My daughter had the ribs and while they weren’t bad, all I kept thinking was why didn’t we go to dinosaur bbq(or sticky lips or…) if you wanted ribs on your birthday? I had a turkey sandwich and it was actually a lot better than I expected. Thick gourmet bread, lots of turkey, thick bacon, avocado, cheese. Very fresh tasting. What I loved(and apparently everyone loved as there were multiple hands stealing them from my plate) were the freshly made thick cut potato chips. Those are very good. I’ve had decent tuna melts here, the chicken tenders are excellent, the wings are fair(I love it when a chain comes to western NY and sells wings). This isn’t my favorite place but it’s dependable and if there’s a game on, you can see it on every wall. TONS of TVs. Like I said, it’s decent for a chain.
