I bought a groupon for shellac. The lady was very nice, and her work space was very clean and sanitary. I only gave 3 stars because she did not do much to my nails before applying the shellac. As a result, my cuticles are very dry. Also in between layers, I noticed that almost every nail has dust or black hairs, which isn’t fun.
The price was great, but I wouldn’t pay full price for shellac here.

We all know that nail salons are a dime a dozen these days. What makes this one better than the others?
For me, it’s not only important to leave a nail appointment with cute digits, but also feeling like I had a clean and safe experience. I’ve had two pedicures at Livin’ it Up, and Darci does a great job, at a very reasonable price. When I returned after four weeks, the polish was still perfect and shiny.
As a fellow member of the beauty industry, I really appreciate the fact that she follows the correct laws in sanitation (which is sadly NOT the standard). SO many people do not realize what risk they are taking when having these services done.
I live and work on the far west side of Madison, and the short drive to Verona is worth the high quality experience at Livin’ it Up!
