True Colors Salon & Spa

I did receive an email from owner Regan Turner, who did refund my money and assured me that they have made changes to their procedures. I do hope that when someone makes a second appt. to correct what was previously done that a manager is also there with the stylist. And any actions are done in a timely manner.

Stay away from this salon. Went in for full hair color and blow dry with straightening. One girl did the color which was just okay (could have done at home) and then all of the sudden she passed me to another to finish drying my hair. Horrible service! My hair didn’t look like I just had it colored and straighten. I was so disappointed. Plus, I had to walk back into the salon because when I looked closer in my car’s vanity mirror, I noticed I had hair color on my face in various areas. The manager herself took me back to remove it as best she could and wanted to convince me that was «normal.» I’ve had my hair colored for years, that was not «normal.»

While visiting a friend I went to see Janet for an 80 minute full body message & honestly it was the best I have ever had! I have had several all across the country from some very high end places — none compared. She’s a little bitty lady but she knows just how to apply the right pressure. Wish I lived close I’d come often! Thank you Janet!

My hairdresser Candace was good she has done my hair a couple of times. My only issue was I called to make an apt last month and I was trying to ask a question the receptionist kept cutting me off and then hung up on me. Poor customer service.

If there was a NO Star selection this would be the time to use it. The absolute WORST WORST EORDT hair cut and color I have ever gotten. Just moved to Vero Beach and found this mace on Unilocal.

The stylist was enthusiastic and nice. We looked at a pic of color which I told her I don’t usually do because I have naturally blonde hair. Wanted a different look, brighter and beachy. My hair naturally looks like that.
Now I have dried out, frizzy, uneven hair, with skunk stripes that looks so much worse than it did when I came in, worse than it ever has, ever! $ 200 down the drain, I
Look ridiculous, and my hair is SO fried I’m afraid to get it fixed, which I expect to cost another couple hundred bucks. For $ 20 at Walmart I would have been much better off.

I have never been to this salon — its lovely. The setting is great and the service at front desk is terrific. I requested a senior colorist and I am a little disappointed in the outcome. I gave her my «prescription» and my hair is much darker than usual. I still have color stains on my brows and scalp. I really like this Salon so i would advise just a little more attention to the application of hair color.
I love the coffee/​tea/​wine/​soda which is offered. With just a little more attention to detail this can be a superb Salon.

I was stuck in Vero during Hurricane Sandy so in an effort to not go entirely stir crazy, I decided to try out a new salon.
I went in for highlights, lowlights and a haircut. I asked for a senior stylist and was paired with Colette. With 25 years of experience, she was nothing short of wonderful. Extremely thorough in her explanations, she listened patiently to what I was looking for (pictures are always helpful), offered color samples so I knew exactly what I would be getting, and went over pricing as well. Though I have straight hair, she is the queen of curls here so if that’s what you have, she’s your girl.
The salon itself is pretty great. It’s in a sort of deserted plaza so I’m sure it goes unnoticed fairly often but inside is lovely and it offers quite the variety of services. They have a great filtration system so it’s not at all stuffy or stinky. The front desk associate also turned out to be the owner and gave me a tour of the entire salon which was nice. Also worth noting, they have not only basic refreshments (water, soda, juice, coffee) but also beer, wine and snacks.
Would definitely recommend.

I just wanted to update my review and say how fabulous Courtney and Kat are. Kat did a pedi for me today and it was fabulous. She is very sweet too. They have Zoya colors which are trendy and fabulous. They always offer you a drink. a wine or a beer also. They have snacks too. I had a brainstorm today… my business partner and I always need a pedi and cannot find time for meetings. I thought how fabulous to combine a business meeting with a pedi and mani? You get two things done at once. Thanks girls, you rock!

Great hair consultation, cut, & style. Very talented staff, friendly & relaxing ambience. Good value. I have found my new salon «home» :)

This salon is ok. It really depends on what you are looking for. Not to be insulting, but it seems that this salon caters to an older crowd. The décor needs some major updating.
It is a very large salon and I was able to see a stylist as a walk-​in with no problem. They also offer coffee and snacks, love that!
