Classy Cupcakes

I used to go to Classy Cupcakes all the time a few years ago, but hadn’t been back in a while. Yesterday I popped in to get some minis as a thank you gift and I caved and bought myself an oreo cheesecake cupcake. This thing was so good, I’m pretty sure I may end up a regular every Thursday since it’s their flavor of the day through June. Overall, an adorable shop that has all kinds of baked goods from cupcakes, macarons, cakes and pies.

I could not be more happy with the cake made for my son’s birthday! It was perfect and delicious! He was so excited to see the T-​Rex! It was exactly what a wanted!

Amazing cakes and cupcakes. Way better than Georgetown Cupcake in DC. We ordered a ‘churro’ cake for my son’s birthday after having a cupcake with the same flavor. It was a 3-​layer extravaganza of cinnamon cake with caramel, cream cheese frosting and mini churros on top. Ridiculously good.

I’ve ordered from here a few times, and have always received excellent service and, most importantly, cupcakes. The fluffernutter and cookie monster are definitely my favorites.

In the words of our daughter…“this place is the best!” On a recent trip to see her Nana in Vero Beach they paid a visit to Classy Cupcakes, they weren’t disappointed! Our daughter is an expert when it comes to cupcakes and she assured me they were delicious and the owners could not have been nicer. Thank you Classy Cupcakes for memorable visit-​we will be back!!!

I am personally biased towards the red velvet cupcakes, however there is plenty of options to choose from! Great place to stop by for an afternoon treat!

Spectacular presentation and taste to everything they offer! They designed our wedding cake with a fishbowl in the center and everyone loved it! I always stop by when in Vero Beach for a cupcake.

Went there while I was pregnant I got a chocolate cake with chocolate icing, the cake was delicious but for me the icing was too sweet. My son was kicking me like crazy thou so I think he liked it.

I don’t know what Abe is talking about… Great Food. Keep up the good work! We Have A Family of 5 and we ate all off the cupcakes and they were absolutley delichous… DEFINITELY COMING BACK!!! We love you Classy Cupcakes!!!

We booked Classy Cupcakes to do our cupcakes for our wedding rehearsal dinner and our wedding. We could not be be any happier. All of the flavors were absolutely delicious. My family and the rest of our guests gave rave reviews about how great they were. The display looked so beautiful as well. If you’re ever in the area or ever need to satisfy that sweet tooth, you definitely need to stop in and check out the place!

Having been referred here by a friend that I have known since Jr. High SchooI, I disagree with the other reviews on Classy Cupcakes.
Visiting Vero Beach with my wife and three kids, I was seeking something different than the standard ice cream experience. Classy Cupcakes provided just that experience near downtown Vero. Tucked away in a strip-​type center, you could easily pass by without noticing this establishment.
Taking advantage of the four cupcakes for $ 10.50 (I saved .50 from the $ 2.75 each price), we ordered the Vanilla Bean, Classy Chocolate, Red Velvet, Vanilla Chip and Ultimate Chocolate cupcakes. And yes, I realize that this is five cupcakes but the young lady serving us allowed me to split the order by allowing two mini-​cupcakes for my three-​year old twins in lieu of a large cupcake at the same price.
Tasteful and flavorful to the tounge, everyone enjoyed their cupcakes and their first visit to Classy Cupcakes. Outside of the Vanilla Chip cupcake I enjoyed, you may ask how I know this? Well, I have very picky children. If they don’t like the look of an item, they won’t touch it. If they don’t like the flavor, they will immediately spit it out. In this case, they wanted me to return for more although we were heading to the beach.
We will be sure to return upon our next visit to Vero Beach.

I don’t know what Abe is talking about. My family of 6 all thought the cupcakes were delicious. We all shared six different cupcakes. The cake was flavorful and moist and the frosting was just the right thickness and sweetness.

This may be a tad long winded, but I shall explain why I am giving this bakery two stars.
We received a dozen cupcakes for a birthday in lieu of a cake. Assorted flavors, and all very well decorated. That is where my feelings about the cakes veer off the track.
As well and good as they are on the outside, the cakes were dense, almost doughy, and the flavored versions had essentially separated between the flavored and unflavored sections.
The Key Lime version was particularly hideous in flavor. The flavored section was inedible, too bitter and overcooked. The green section had peeled away from the rest as the cake was unwrapped, and stuck to the paper. Trying it was not pleasant.
The frosting, which is a major component of the enjoyment of a cupcake, was loaded with shortening which left a film on our tongues and palettes. The frosting stood up well in the packing case, but as for taste, it was sweet, slightly greasy and had no flavor.
The exception to this was the cream cheese frosting on the red velvet cake. It was as perfect as one could get a cream cheese frosting without overloading it with confectioners sugar.
I hope the owners of Classy Cupcakes take this review as a learning experience and reformat some of their treats. The designs were delightful, but the flavors needed much work to get them to what I would expect from paying a premium price.
Please do not skimp on butter and use shortening, blend the flavors together and check the ratio of dry to liquid ingredients to ensure the cakes do not turn out doughy.
