Big menu with healthy options! Very clean and nice inside. Quick service. Great prices! Came for breakfast from out of town. Would stop by again if in town. About 5 miles off the exit.

Great breakfast! Had chipped beef on home fries. Awesome! Very nice hometown diner. Definately looks like a place all the locals go to. Great service. Highly recommended! AAA+++

Not open! Big sign out front says open 7 days a week as well as here on Unilocal and google but… When we pulled up, a handwritten sign in the window informed us that they were CLOSEDMONDAYANDTUESDAYALLDAY! Whoever manages their Unilocal needs to update hours. Drove over ten miles to get there because of great reviews… Wish we could have eaten there. Starving.

Breakfast on a Saturday morning. Everything was cooked perfectly. Crisp bacon and hash browns and great greens(good vinegar/garlic flavor, no meat) Service was excellent, friendly prompt and coffee/tea never got empty. Busy, friendly local place. Would definitely stop back.

Went to eat at this diner for breakfast, not from the area so we pulled up Unilocal of course, the place was closed. Sat In the parking lot for a Minute to find someplace else and a toothless guy came up to our car and said we’re not open until Thursday!(Today is Wednesday) We ended up at apple Betty’s around the corner!

This is our regular Sunday bunch place. Good food, great staff. I would recommend the homemade muffins, the homemade toast and the greens. They are some of the best I’ve ever had! Only reason why I’m not giving them 5 stars is that for a diner, their coffee is terrible. I’d stick to water. Otherwise, an awesome place to end the weekend!

We were staying at turning stone with some friends for a birthday celebration but I was craving a good diner breakfast and came here after seeing all of the great reviews. I have to say the reviews are right! Our waitress was friendly, funny, and super nice. All three of us enjoyed an excellent breakfast. The plates are enough to feed two in my opinion. This place has that hometown diner feel. There’s actual developed photographs of family and friends on the walls, I loved it. I’ll definitely go back the next time we’re in the area and I highly recommend for anyone looking for a good comforting meal.

Perfect breakfast. I had the biggest three egg omelet I’ve ever had with 6 different veggies in there. The homemade toast was crisp and delicious. The French toast was masterfully prepared. The coffee was super decent. Service was super. Thanks

I’m giving them all the shining FIVE stars because this is a great locally-owned café. They offer great-tasting breakfast, mouthwatering desserts, and friendly staff! I’ve been touring around New York State and I’ve noticed that common courtesy such as saying«thank you», «you’re welcome», and«please» are too much for the staff to say. I’ve dined in numerous restaurant from upstate to Manhattan and I can only count on one hand how many staff said«thank you» as my company and I walk out of the door. But not the staff of this café, the place is sure nothing fancy but the staff, the food, and the service is amazing!

Surprisingly, I’d never been to Nothin’ Fancy until recently. I had no problem calling ahead to make a reservation for 12 people for 9 am on a Sunday. When I got there, they were all ready for us at a really long table. Perfect. The place was busy but not completely packed, and the waitresses were running around. I had some very good decaf coffee, and the waitress came around to take everyone’s orders once we were all there. I ordered the western omelet, which was delicious. The cheese wasn’t as high quality as I would have liked, but the omelet was very light, and the eggs, ham, and veggies were done excellently. It did take a minute to flag down a waitress when I needed a coffee refill, since they were so busy, but they were around regularly to check on us and get us more of anything.

So cute! Right in Vernon, so it’s very popular among the community. The nightclub is also popular. Very busy on weekend mornings, so be prepared for a crowd. Great waitstaff.
