Trails are in terrible shape, rocky, steep and slippery for the horse. Not an enjoyable ride and no place to trot or cantor. I am sure there are lots of slip and falls and injury to the horses.

Great experience this weekend at this riding stable. The girls from the one at the desk to the riding guides were very pleasant, funny & informative. They don’t make you wear a helmet if you are over 12 years of age, take rides of any size/weight, have loads of horses, & do a full 1 hour trail ride including cantoring which is rare. The trail they took us on was not for novices, it had narrow turns & several steep up/down hills, but that was great for us. They also allow kids from 7 years & up to ride(much younger than most stables) & fee is only $ 50/hour(another stable nearby was $ 75/hour & wasn’t half as good). Overall, great experience & a real ride, not a little baby walk. I will definitely be returning here on a regular basis to ride & possibly take some advanced lessons. GOHEAR, RIDEFAST&HAVEFUN. And… don’t forget to tip the guides!

Do not waste your time stopping here. This stable was conveniently located across the street from our resort. The fees are more than other stables in the area. We stopped in just after a group left. I only had 1 rider and could have waited for the next group. We were also going to come back for a pony ride. The man was so rude and nasty when I asked that we just left. The place is dirty. Drive the extra miles to another stable with better reviews. We did. Well worth the trip and extra gas. Sorry mean man, you just lost $ 48 in business. I work hard for my money and expect to be treated with a little respect. I understand you can’t do a trail ride for one and would have waited. Hey wait … The stables we did go to were $ 5 less an hour, very friendly, did do a ride for one(even though we were willing to wait); the farm was bigger cleaner and you could tell they really loved animals! Take a lesson!

Went here with a group of 4 to ride some horses. Pretty easy to get to. We got there around 12 and were able to get right onto a horse and on to the trail. Prices weren’t bad($ 35pp)+tip but i would have rather done some more trotting etc. The horses were a little old, mine, big joe, has asthma. Most of the ride is just a mosey around in the woods with some nice views across fields etc. There is 1 spot that you go into a trot in on the way out and again on the way in. This is the highlight of the whole ride(1hr long). Would think about going again, but word is they are closing for good in November.
