Beware that this is one of those dollar stores where not everything is actually $ 1, and quality-wise, not everything is actually worth the full price you pay. But that doesn’t mean it’s not worth the trip, if you know how to be a smart shopper. The last two times I’ve gone, I’ve received«$ 5 off $ 25 or more» coupons for the coming Saturday at the bottom of my receipts. I’ve found that between being picky about what I put in my cart(like items from their $ 1 section) and using the $ 5 off coupon, you can really capitalize on the savings. I tend to get a variety of things here, but on my last trip for example, I picked up their plastic organizer trays for drawers/shelves(they come in multiples for only $ 1), a 3’x5’ rug for my pet rabbit($ 14), a plain gray crewneck sweatshirt($ 2 on clearance, perfect for DIYs!), and two litterbox liner packs also for my rabbit($ 2.50 each). I also frequent their nonperishable food aisles for brand-name snacks for my fiancé, like Pop-Tarts($ 2/box). I tend to come in the late evenings on weekdays, so maybe that’s why I’ve only ever seen one employee in the store at any time. My biggest issue with this location is that because of the understaffing, the checkout counter is often left unmanned, with the one working employee somewhere in a back room. And there isn’t a bell or any way that you can let them know that you’re ready to checkout. A couple times I’ve had to stand around for a couple minutes until someone came out to help me. But I can’t speak for weekdays during the day or weekends.
