I don’t really write bad reviews but this place really deserves it. I’m a frequent traveler and am always staying in hotels. Me and my wife are going to the waterpark about a mile from here and this place seemed to be the most practical one geographically. And after reading some of the reviews online, I decided to give it a shot… And oh boy!!! Never again. The place was moldy and smelled really bad. The AC was old and very loud, It felt like you’re sleeping next to a tractor trailer. There was a fly in the room. The carpet was sticky and gross. I got in at around 11 pm so I didn’t really have a choice but to take the room I reserved.. But never again. I’d rather drive the extra 10 miles to stay at a decent INN or hotel next time.

This motel was very basic but completely adequate. We stayed here for a night in September and had no complaints. Customer service was friendly and the room had a fridge and microwave(sometimes that’s hard to find!).

For it’s low price, you get what you pay for. There’s a big nice-quality television and an amazing air conditioner, as well as a great hair dryer that caused us to redefine it’s use. A nice microwave(perfect for making s’mores!) and mini fridge as well. We also found delicious chocolate-covered cherries in a drawer, pretty sweet. Wi-Fi is free, however, you have to call and ask for the password. Some cons; the shower door was broken, the toilet had difficulty flushing, an extremely firm bed(if you like that sort of thing), abrasive blankets, towels, and tissues, and rather strange customer service. Overall, it was a good motel, satisfactory for an overnight stay.
