Simply the best all around bike park close to NYC. Rocky trails galore, a few flow runs and Dominion is the premier jump line. They have some decent wooden features and drops sprinkled about the mountain. The lift is fast and gets you in on some decent runs right off the lift. Lots of races throughout the year and special events and camps have been added to the schedule. They even offer up a local Thursday night race league with cash in the hat for the top finisher. Beer garden has decent brews and food to offer. Just beware of the savages that visit the water park adjacent to the bike park. They can be rude and obnoxious, but the eye candy kind of makes up for it! Rentals are decent but you might have to ask to get a better set of wheels or pedals from my pat experience. You will become a better rider if you come here regularly!

I’ve been going here every season and so far it has not disappointed me yet when it comes to the trails, food, bike rentals and staff. The only downside is how rude the people who go for the water-park side of mountaincreek can!

Awesome place to ride and has terrain as good as it gets. I would agree with a few of the earlier reviews about how the terrain is rocky, it is probably one of the roughest places in the country, but, on that flipside, the newer bike park stuff that they do have, is second to none. I personally come here to ride the steep rocky stuff, but it is nice to ride the flow towards the end of the day when your hands are tired. They have plenty of races throughout the year as well if you ever want to give racing a shot, including downhill and an enduro event.

To start off, my home bike park is Highland Bike Park, and I’ve been to a lot of mt biking parks. I am not a big fan of Mt Creek Bike Park, my first impression of this place is very negative. This place doesn’t have that mt biking culture that Highland does. This place is a zoo, there is a water park and there’s so many people and tourists. Just the whole atmosphere of this place sucks. I rented a bike from this place and it was by far the worst bike I ever rented. The tires were bald and I had to bring it in for tweaks a couple times. Coming to the main part, the trails… this mt seems to gravitate towards rocky terrain. As much as I love rocky trails, the amount of them on this mt seems a bit ridiculous. Not enough flowy single track. Just an overall negative mt, go to Highland Bike Park for a better experience. Jeez even Mt Snow bike park is much better then Mountain Creek.

There is no better place to go close to NYC, or east of the Mississippi, for mountain biking. So many maintained trails, you wouldn’t be able to ride them all in a weekend if you tried. The trails in the past focused on skilled riders, but now there is plenty for someone just learning the ropes! I even brought my 14 year old brother last year(who has never been mountain biking before) and he was able to ride some trails and have fun! It is also home to trails that can make you really want to ride with friends because they’re so gnarly. Great variety of trails. Never get bored. Lodging area is very nice and luxurious. And there’s a bar. Inexpensive too! Season pass is a steal for anyone who plans on riding a lot.

Mountain Creek Bike Park offers a wide range of bike experiences. Downhill, slalom and some very challenging XC. If you are into ripping downhill this is your place. $ 40.00(approx) lift ticket gets you to the top all day long. Be sure to get here early as the parking lot fills up quick. Full bike rentals and protective gear available at completely reasonable prices. Great fun for those who crave outdoor adventures. Mountain biking at its extreme. Groomed trails, wall rides, rock gardens, drops and jumps. This is a great bike park for those who are into advanced bike riding.
