I needed to replace my old worn out wooden deck and decided I wanted to go with wood/​plastic composite rather than wood. My preference was to use TREX brand wood/​plastic composite since it had the reputation of being the best in the industry. I found Georgetown Decks on Unilocal,and was impressed with the reviews. I was also impressed that they were a TREX Pro Platinum contractor. Based on these 2 criteria I decided to go with Georgetown Decks. Needless to say, I was quite impressed with Georgetown Decks. The work they did more than exceeded my expectations.
At the initial stage of the project, Tom R took the time to go over all the decking options available to us and helped us custom design our new 2-​tier deck. Georgetown took care of getting the necessary permits, and also dealing with all the peculiar village requirements. Corey F was great in coordinating this project, and keeping me informed on the status of each step.
The crew that did the installation were, as I can best put it, craftsmen. They paid close attention to detail, and made sure everything was done exactly to specifications. It was very obvious to me that they took pride in their work. They even took the time to shop around to find siding that closely matched my house siding for an area that became exposed after the original deck was removed.
Bottom line is that we couldn’t be more pleased having gone with Georgetown Decks. Friends that have seen our deck have likewise commented as to the professional workmanship. I would definitely recommend Georgetown Decks to anyone that wants a world class deck installed.

I have done many rehab projects and have used many contractors. Georgetown decks is one of the best, if not the best I have worked with. My kitchen guy Mike and he are #1 in my book. I LOVE being on my deck. I feel like it is a beautiful piece of furniture not a deck. This summer we notice that when we have company over it seems as though we are having more fun because of the deck. I believe the space is so inviting that it creates such a wonderful atmosphere.
The workmanship is stellar, They came when they said they would. They finished on time. Clean up was impeccable. They have returned to inspect. Tom is a great businessman a pleasure to deal with. They did not over sell me. In fact, Tom recommended I not do some things, with good reason and I can see how that made sense.
I can recommend them with ease. Plan ahead, they are good so their docket does fill up.
