This review is just for the masseuse Jeff McNurlin. Go see Jeff McNurlin for all your massage needs. I believe he works at this location Mondays and Tuesdays 2pm-​9pm. He can fix whatever problem you are having and you will leave feeling FANTASTIC! Go see Jeff!!!

I have been to this location a few times over the years. I typically book randomly with an available masseuse. Today I had a wonderful massage with Jordan. His approach is gentle but has the strength for a deep massage. He listened to and met my needs for today. I have been to him before and he has the ability to customize a massage. He will now be my go to guy for a massage.
This business has a clean and quiet environment, the employees are polite and informative. It was easy to book and appointment and the prices are more than fair. This leaves one with cash to tip. After a wonderful massage why would one not.
If you have the time and want to feel better it is a must to check this place out. There is free parking across the street behind the
E P Foster Public Library or in the structure at Chestnut and Santa Clara.
Feel better and book an appointment. The sooner the better.

My boyfriend and I wanted to do a couples massage. When we called they were very friendly and scheduled us for a couples massage with two female therapists. A few minutes later, the receptionist called back and apologized but the couples room had already been booked for that time slot, so we opted for separate rooms. We arrived early as they suggested so that we could fill out the new client form. We also followed their suggestion and parked across the street in the public library free lot instead of paying to park on the street.
My therapist was Jennifer. She read my form which listed that I had been having lower back pain and tightness in my neck and shoulders. She suggested that sitting all day would keep my hamstring and flutes right which could be causing my lower back pain and that she would work on those areas as long as I was comfortable. She was very professional and made me feel comfortable and relaxed during my one hour session. I would definitely recommend a massage with her.

Had a massage done by Olivia and it was amazing! I received a gift certificate and just made an appointment with the next available therapist and I’m so glad it was her! Specializing in Swedish Massage and deep tissue– she really helped my entire body relax and knots are already almost gone! She was also trying some sort of rock therapy– it was awesome. I’ll definitely be back!

We are so grateful and happy that they were able to take us after being late for 15 minutes and they didn’t take any time away from us! Jordan applied a perfect medium pressure massage focusing on the lower half of my body my feet I came out feeling refreshed my wife also had a wonderful massage it was well worth the drive and again thank you for being patient with us. All you need are charger stations for iPhones and Wi-​Fi access

I have gone to the massage place for years but more often lately, everyone I have dealt with has been kind, professional and truly interested in what is bothering me, in my case my upper back. They also are very flexible and always have a last minute appointment for me.
I have tried multiple massage institutions from the Chinese and Thai massage parlors (where by the way I get charged the same price from much less) and the large spa’s where I pay $ 160 for 50 minutes plus spa fee, plus, plus. After years of trying, I am sticking with the Massage Place downtown Ventura!

The atmosphere here isn’t the most relaxing… noise is kind of an issue. However, Tammy is a miracle worker! My boyfriend got me a gift certificate last year for Christmas and I finally got to use it the other day. I pretty much never want a massage from anyone else but Tammy for the rest of my life. She knew exactly what to do and where to do it and I really felt like it was repairing my back and shoulders. I highly recommend her to everyone!

My neck and back has been feeling really tight so I decided to come in and get a full hour massage. I forgot to get her name but my massage was with a middle aged Asian woman. Each massage is given in a small dark individual private room. If you want a couple’s massage, make sure to tell them and there would be an extra charge.
There’s not much talking in the room which I like! They use a lot of lotion or oil which I’m not a huge fan of haha. I asked for a deep tissue massage and she didn’t do a bad job but I definitely could use more pressure. Maybe she was afraid she was going to break me? Either way, one hr full body massage for 47 $ is not a bad price. May come back in the future.

Law of attraction in action led me to this great place. Got exactly what I desired, relaxing atmosphere, un pretentious staff and therapist. Just the way we like it. 90 flew by, light on chit chat, heavy on deep tissue followed by cranial sacral. I’ll be back for more.

I just had a 90 minute prenatal massage with Anna and it was amazing! She listened to what I wanted and did a great job of working out all of my knots. This place is no frills, but I’d rather have an amazing massage without the fancy water and focus on the important stuff!

Had a wonderful massage with Maya and my husband had Tammy. We were both long overdue!
Don’t let Maya’s tiny little stature fool you. She has incredibly strong hands, and is very knowledgable.
My husband said his was great and we need to do this at least once a month.

The facility = no frills. It is very basic which is why the price is so nice.
