This is a traditional taqueria with typical stuff they usually have. The service is good, employees are cordial and efficient. They offer you chips and salsa no matter if your take out or eating in. Salsa bar is decent and has a few items that I enjoy. Smokey salsa, mild, green, and they do a special marinated onions with chopped habaneros mixed in. These are addictive and taste great on your burrito! I usually like carnitas in places like this but this particular place I enjoy more to get the carne asada. Something going on with the carne asada, don’t know what it is but I like it. Marinade or something. Juices fresh as well and a decent morning food too. Huevos rancheros are awesome here.

This is one of my favorite little eateries. It’s not fancy at all but so delicious! And the juices are fresh, very inexpensive and made to order. You can custom blend them as I do. The carnitas is great and that’s not always easy to find.

This place is very authentic, pastor tacos and carnitas is where it’s at !!! 5 stars on the food, the place could use a little help as far as the salsa bar and drinks but overall my new spot for great Mexican food

I had lunch here two years ago when I first moved to the area. I decided to give em another shot and its just not good food. Its salty and the meats are fatty and bland in flavor. The nachos include no beans! The salsas have no heat or flavor. The ONLY tasty item on the menu is the bottled coke. Also, the chips are straight out of a grocery bag. What a rip off!

Popped in when I realized the half a banana and small apple didn’t cut it for breakfast. It was almost lunch time but opted for the breakfast burrito. Chorizo burrito. Eggy and not too greasy. It came with potatoes in there too. Ginormous… couldn’t eat the whole thing if I tried. I left most of the tortilla and dove into the goodness. You could split that between 3 people. They serve breakfast all day by the way. Salsa was fresh! Bathroom clean! Staff greeting customers nicely and traditionally as well as they go off to have a great day. Que te valla bien. It’s on Main Street. Lots of seating. May give it another star when I try some of the other menu items. Will return.

Great food for the price and they’re fast. My husband and I managed to spend $ 35, but we got a chile relleno, chicken enchilada, 2 tacos, a quesadilla, 2 taquitos and two drinks. And got chips and beans and rice. Would return if I visit Ventura again.

Often my first pick of where to eat when in the area. The menu is extensive and the food is quite good. Others must agree because the place has been packed each time I’ve been there. Be sure to try one of their smoothies with your meal(or just by itself).

As a first time guest, i was really impressed and satisfied with the quality of the food. I got the Chorizo con Huevo burrito and my girlfriend got a Carnitas Quesadilla. Although my burrito was missing salt, it was very delicious. But my girlfriends quesadilla was amazing. Im definately getting a quesadilla next time. The price was a bit pricy in my opinion. I paid a little under $ 11.

I go down to Main St. all the time but had never ate here. My co-worker invited me to lunch and took me here. I had an enchilada and taco plate combo. I really enjoyed it. Also there salsa was very tasty. I will be bringing my boyfriend soon to try it out. Don’t know why I never stopped in before.

My hubby ordered us an all meat Carne asada burrito and for a moment I thought I was in san diego. I think we found our ventura version of our favorite San Diego Carne asada burrito. Our tummy loved them. total price was a shocker coz we didn’t order our usual SD massive order but it’s ok we’ll be back.

If you’re in or near Ventura you should not be wasting your time reading this review. If you’re hungry you should be heading for this place right now! I had the chile relleno burrito and it was fantastic! I mean I really liked it! Portion was quite large so if you have a smaller appetite you might want to consider sharing. The chips were warm and crisp and they have a nice salsa bar. That’s all I’ve tried so far but plan to go back again and give some other items a try. Go out of your way, get off the highway and drive through town so that you can check this place out. You’ve got to go here, you’re going to love it. Oh, and the customer service was great; very friendly.

Cute little tacos, both the carnitas and the chile verde were tasty, the carnitas were the crispy kind(on the salty side) and the chile verde was especially tender. They give free chips. The salsa bar isn’t the best ever(and I’m pretty sure those marinated onions were fermenting). Not the greatest value for a hole in the wall atmosphere, it feels a bit grungy and more like a place that should be charging no more than $ 2 each for tiny tacos. I must be missing something.

Very impressed! The food was fresh tasty and the service was fast. The place itself is nothing fancy just a typical walk in fast food type of place with a home made food feel. I’m not one for Mexican food but I will definitely be back. Oh and great prices average $ 7 ish and a very authentic menu.

Their rice is delicious, go for a combo if you have room(or are hungry). I had the fish taco combo, I don’t know what kind of fish it was but it was good so that’s all that matters. I liked the salsa/vegetable bar okay, I just wished for pico de gallo. Oh well, no worries. We ordered guacamole, and I wouldn’t do that again. It was just okay. The juice I had was good, my aunt had a jarritos and they looked to have a few flavors so that’s nice. Everyone who had chili rellenos enjoyed them. Good food and location, especially when you are out thrifting. There is free parking about one block away and one block down towards the ocean(this is the case on most streets), but if you have someone who cannot walk a long distance or prefers not to, there is street parking but you must pay at the kiosk.

I’ve searched far and wide for the perfect burrito. I’m quite picky, it has to have good meat, flavorful beans(a must), cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole. Every where I go, I always end up having to add something to make it a good burrito. This place offers the perfect burrito in the Super Burrito. Their chicken is seasoned deliciously, way better than their carne asada(al pastor get honorable mention). I also order it without rice. Rice is annoying in a burrito, it just muddles all the other awesome flavors and textures. Also if you want to taste what traditional Horchata tastes like, here’s your spot. Very ricey. Very Cinnamoney.

Quick and easy authentic Mexican food. Don’t expect candles and a smooth waiter. Do expect the best carnitas ever, sensational juices and very generous burritos. Excellent. Love it.

This is definitely the best mexican food on Main Street in Ventura. Grab a burrito or some tacos and head to the beach!
