I’ve had two teeth removed by Dr. Saint. The first was in 1979 or 1980 on a field at an Indian Guides campout north of Goleta somewhere. I had stumbled while playing and an incisor, cuspid, bicuspid or canine came loose. Dr. Saint came to the rescue and asked if he could take a look. I allowed him. I was so scared that I closed my eyes. When I opened them, he was holding the tooth in his hand. Magic or years of training?
The second tooth was a molar. I had to get a local and he had to go in there with pliers. He made it as pleasant as possible, but I’ll never forget the squeeking sound as the tooth left the bone. Gross.
