Established in 1979.

Mr. Tator began practicing law in 1979. He came to Ventura County in 1981 defending people for insurance companies at the firm initially known as Kosmo & Cho. Eventually it became Kosmo & Tator. In 1997 Mr. Tator’s practice began accepting plaintiffs’ cases as well as defense cases.

Mr. Tator graduated from Claremont Men’s College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics in 1973. In 1975 he received his Master’s Degree in Government from Claremont Graduate School. He received his J.D. from Loyola University in 1977. During graduate school and law school Mr. Tator worked as a political consultant, a profession which he continued through the 1978 elections.
