We host educational symposiums, events/parties and our tasting room is available for rent.
We are the only winery with a tasting room in historic downtown Ventura.

History
Established in 2000.
We specialize in Pinot Noir and have been crafting Pinot Noir under the «Labyrinth» label since 2000.
In 2005, we created the «HAKA» label under which we make various wine varietals from the California Central Coast from Santa Barbara to Paso Robles.

Founder /winemaker Ariki «Rick» Hill met Ed and Stephanie Schwartz in 2010 over a bottle of wine in Shell Beach, CA. They soon became friends and business partners.
Rick, a native New Zealander, has been making wines commercially in Australia and the U.S. since 1997. He founded Labyrinth in 2000.
Ed and Stephanie, native Californians, bring a business and marketing discipline to the team. They oversee sales, wine club and tasting room activities.
Labyrinth’s winemaking philosophy is to start with the best fruit available and then to craft balanced, region appropriate wines that reflect the site of origin. You’ll taste the true varietal characteristics in our wines. All of our wines taste great with food and have the ability to age in the medium term.
