Klean Kuts Barbershop

I tried out this barbershop just because I wanted a change. The old shop I went to, was getting kind of crowded so I figured I’d try a different one out.
Got my haircut here 3 months ago from Gabe and I’ve never received so many compliments about my hair! I’ve been coming back ever since. I like the atmosphere of the shop because it’s nice, big, and professional. You don’t have to deal with the loudness that can kind of get obnoxious that characterizes some of the other barbershops in the area. I get that that’s the «traditional» barbershop atmosphere, but it’s just not for me.
I’m sure the other barbers in the shop are good too, I just haven’t tried them yet, but Gabe is the man when it comes to cutting hair! I’ve had my hair cut by 11 different barbers in this area alone in the last 4 years. They’ve all been pretty good and have cut my hair in their own way (it’s actually really kind of cool how one haircut can be interpreted in many different ways by different barbers) but Gabe has been the best one by far!

It’s always hard trying to find a good barber that will know or see what haircut looks good on a customer.
The last barbershop I went to had a barber that kept cutting my skin and always being a no show. After he cut my skin again that was the final straw and finally decided to go to Klean Kuts.
This barbershop is a bit out of my way but it’s worth the haircut every time. I like how Joey doesn’t have too many barbers because with the other barbershop I felt like there was no type of respect and integrity. Joey’s shop is clean, friendly and relaxing. The other shop was your typical barbershop that was loud with inappropriate music and competitive disrespectful barbers.
I get my haircut done by Gabe who is an awesome barber! He is always on top of his game and responds to haircut request in a timely manner. Gabe always gives recommendations and never slacks on giving great haircuts. I’ve been going to Gabe for several months and I’m always happy with my haircut. I do recommend Klean Kuts to anyone. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Great place for a razor shave and a hot towel shave. Bekka shaved my head silky smooth other places my head feels like sand paper. Lots of parking and fair prices. If you like head shaved ask for Bekka.

I was referred to Joey over a year ago when he worked at Hanks in Camarillo. I now happily drive out to Ventura once a month to see him at his own shop because nobody else can get my cut exactly right every time. Once I had Gabe cut a low to high skin fade when Joey was not available and he knows his stuff too. Cool staff, cool location, beach vibe with reggae music playing in the backround and prices are more than fair. Overall amazing, can’t beat it.

Great spot to get your cut. Cool dudes and a really clean shop. I go to Gabe and he always takes care of me. Totally recommend this place if you’re looking for a haircut or shave.

This is the only cut I have ever gotten where I didn’t have to go immediately home to shower. Professional atmosphere. This place is run with utter dignity.

Recently moved down to Ventura and I needed a haircut from someone trustworthy. I found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a shot based on the previous positive reviews. It’s hard picking a new barber if you’ve only had 2 for the past 23 years…
I called for an appointment and asked for Joey. He was a chill and down to earth barber who was very easy to talk to and did exactly what I wanted for my cut. In addition, he gives very professional advice to make you look your best as everyone’s hair is different.
He went the whole 9 yards for my cut and I was very impressed. If you want a real barbershop experience with people who are easy going and knowledgeable, drop by and you won’t be disappointed.
They also sell a variety of hair products as well so you don’t have to go searching for them later on.

I called in the morning just after 9 to see how busy they were. He said he had someone in the chair and had some things to do so he would be able to take me around 10. I was kinda in a time crunch so I went in at 9:27 to see if I could get in by 9:30 maybe he wasnt to busy now. He was texting on his phone leaning over a chair as I walked in and asked if he could possibly get me in now because I had an appointment at 10. He looked at me then said well you are a little early and I have some stuff I need to get done. I told him I would be back around 10 so he could finish up whatever he needed to. «In my mind I am thinking ok finish your texting I guess your conversation is worth more then my money.» I ended up not going back since there are over 3 barbers on the same block and by 10am another one had opened I know I would get great service at. GLAD I DID!!! Good luck running a business at your convenience.

Awesome place Joey the barber is the owner well greeted and welcome once I entered. Joey the barber is a real down to earth person. He educated me in which product works with which hair type. Awesome haircut clean, sharp, sculpturing work. Blessing how hard he worked for his shop, and his sharing journey. A true leader inside. Will back soon Joey.

Just went in today to get my head shaved. I normally do it myself because I’m going bald, but decided to have it done before vacation. It was well worth the money, and I plan on coming back again. The barber (Joey) took his time, and got it all the way to the skin. Trimmed the eye brows, the whole none yards. Left looking and feeling great

Klean kuts barber shop is no doubt a very welcoming and friendly establishment. All of the barbers and stylists there are very knowledgeable and easy going. They listen to the customer and you receive exactly what you request. Very reasonably priced nice atmosphere and outgoing staff. 5 stars for klean kuts.

Another hidden gem in Ventura. First time there. Took my very particular nine year old for a much needed haircut. Bianca’s chair was free. Told her what’re were looking for, showed her a few photos of the cut we were interested in, and voila! She did exactly that, she gave my son precisely what he wanted. Both of us left very happy!
This is a new Barbershop that opened in December. I’m sure glad I found klean kuts. We will be back, for sure!

Nice Klean shop. I’ve been getting my haircut with Joey for over a year now. He recently opened his own shop. Good place for a High N Tight, Pomp, general haircut, trim, or a Fade. Treat yourself to a straight razor shave. They also carry Suavecito Pomade & Hairevolution gel.

Clean, friendly shop with some talented barbers. Go see Joey for a fade. I am picky when it comes to haircuts and he was patient with me and learned exactly what length I wanted and where I wanted the fade before he took off too much. I won’t go anywhere else in town

Klean Kuts is the place to go for affordable haircuts, and professional shaves. The owner Joey, and his crew are friendly, and take their job seriously. They have a lot of chairs, so you won’t have to wait in a line, and they have plenty of choices for jells, and palmades. Joey has been cutting my hair for years now, and he’s always done a fantastic job! I even have a huge abnormal bump on the back of my head, and Joey works around it so that it’s not even noticeable. I always get compliments after leaving Klean Kuts.
