Best country fried steak and eggs ever!!! The biscuits and gravy are excellent and so is every thing else on the menu. I love when they have Sunday lunch specials like fried chicken and waffles! The service is always top notch and the crepes with the berry jam are everything! Yum!

The smell of the food there is already making your mouth water so they bring in a Crêpe which pleases you until your order arrives. I love the Omelets! I love their coffee! Great service and great atmosphere!

Cottage fries are to die for and the Spanish omelette is delicious! Never had a bad experience with the servers. Always a wait but thats kind of a good thing because its always packed. Oh and you get a free Crêpe

Nothing really wrong with this place, just not my style. Food seemed extremely bland. This could be intentional as most their clientele appear to be senior citizens. Service is just okay as well. Was nice that they bring a crêpe, but not diggin the food. Seems designed for people with dentures.

Great French toasts! I’m a fan of their French toast. It’s busy but they serve pretty quickly. Although my husband didn’t quite like the coffee, I’m fine with it. All the girls working there were doing well on serving quickly.

Their food is generally good(nothing gourmet but taste like home made). They are generally nice(or pretend to be at least), and their prices are not cheep for sure, but today I was told I couldn’t bring in my home made coffee in. I told them I’d pay for their coffee but they told me «that’s not the reason» and they could hold it for me. I’m not sure what the reason is since she didn’t disclose, but my 3 year old and I ended up leaving and eating at McDonalds. Oh well. The visit prior to this, I brought my sister with her kids and I felt like they didn’t want us there the entire time we were there. I hadn’t gone back since, but I thought today is give them another try. Well, so much for that idea. I really want to spend my money supporting local businesses, in fact, I was expecting to spend $ 15 – 20 easily between my daughter and I. I ended up spending $ 8 at McDonald’s. No, the food does not compare, but at least you HAVE to be nice when you work in fast food joint! Bottom line: I would take my business somewhere else. In fact, Pete’s Breakfast House is way better and around the same price. It was just out of my way today, but that’s a much friendlier and tasty choice!

We ordered to go from here today. We got two make your own omelettes and one order of the Swedish pancakes. The actual restaurant was not bad looking. At first from the outside we thought it was closed because the shades were drawn down all the way and you couldn’t see inside. The omelette I ordered included sour cream and I was confused when I opened the box because I found no sour cream, but then as I kept eating I see the sour cream mixed in the actual omelette. I didn’t care for that since it melted almost and became watery. It should’ve been included in a small container on the side. My hash browns were so dry and hard. A sure fire way to ensure my meal is ruined is if the potatoes aren’t good. We were super excited for the crepes(Swedish pancakes) but it had no sauce/whipped cream. It had blue berries and strawberries on it but we could’ve sworn it said it came with whipped cream. It was so dry and honestly just bad. It needed some sort of cream or sauce with it.

I’m not a breakfast person, but Eggs N’ Things is one of my favorite restaurants. The staff are super friendly and the manager is hilarious. The menu has something for everyone(including non-breakfast people) and is very family friendly.

In love with this place!!! So I’ve heard nothing but great things for years but have never went and checked it for myself. My friend decided to take me to breakfast last week and it was perfect! Service was amazing and food was even better! I’m craving it again! I had a chicken enchilada omelette! What!!! Lol it was soooo yummy! What made it better was the wishbone I found in the omelette. asked the owner about it and they put a wishbone in every chicken omelette. That little thing brightened my already gloomy day… and the biscuits!!! I’m hooked. AMAAAAAZZZZZIIIINGGG! Definitely a regular for breakfast. for sure

I had the California omelet and it was delicious. Other than the wait for the food(25mins) it was an overall great experience. It gets very busy on Sunday’s around 10 – 11 or so. Service was good. I wish I would have asked for the servers name but she was great & on top of things. Thank you!

Rude manager. Go to Café Nouveau, Pete’s, Galloping Hen or dozens of friendlier places in Ventura instead. Food is better at Café Nouveau and not even as much as the food at Eggs N Things. I let the owner know I had a bad experience at his restaurant and heard nothing back, so he doesn’t care either. Take your business elsewhere, I will.

Just as delicious as the Eggs & Things I’m acquainted with in Thousand Oaks. Fantastic crepes to start, the best breakfast burritos, the best egg croissants, the best biscuits… the best everything on a lazy morning.

Pedimos Swedish Pancakes y Country Fried Steak and Eggs, estaban riquísimos ambos platos! No pude decidir cual de los dos me gustó más. La comida con muy buen sabor, textura y la temperatura perfecta. Además de que el personal es muy amable, llegamos cuando ya estaban por cerrar y nos atendieron sin prisas.

Visited this establishment for breakfast for the first time and I have to say I think it’s better than IHOP in many ways. The environment is very welcomin; family style. You get a crêpe to start off with, which was way better than any I’ve had at IHOP or Dennie’s. I ordered the sausage omelet with no cheese and fruit on the side. Normally I hold back from ordering any fruit because you never know if it’s out dated, mushy or just plain gross. I was not disappointed withy order, it was delicious and will definitely go back. Customer service was very good, the waitresses make sure to give you sufficient time before coming and taking anything away or asking you on how your doing.

I have eaten at this location for 10 years and I have never been disappointed. If there was a problem, it was corrected swiftly and generously. Service and food are consistently great. I have visited all the locations of this chain and the VENTURA one is the best! The Newhall location gives them a run for their money though.

Service is good, great remodeling, and delicious meal. I ordered the Italian omelet with O’brian potatoes and it was one of the best omelets I’ve had in Ventura. Thumbs up!

Bottom Line: Good local greasy spoon! The wife and I happened upon this place on the morning of my birthday before heading over the air museum and we weren’t really sure what to expect. A line out front was good sign though. We sat down and ordered a couple plates of food and pretty much enjoyed everything. I liked that all of the servers had a kind of uniform and they were all very helpful and friendly. We pretty much didn’t have any complaints about anything and liked everything put in front of us. Good service, good food! What else do you need to know?
