These are 60 foot boats. They have benches all around for sitting along the way over to the Channel Islands. There are some protected seats on the inside. Boat has a snack bar, and restrooms.
The trip over depends, of course, on the weather. The channel can get rough, so I recommend you go during the morning when you have the chance for less bumps. We did have some whitecaps, and the ride was very bumpy at times. Be sure to take your seasick medicine, if you are prone, as this can be one ride with lots of motion.
The boat worked, got us there, and came back to pick us up.
