Horrible customer service! I have worked in customer service my whole life, so I am always respectful and nice to people who work in the same field. It can be a hard job, and I understand that… that being said, I was horrified when trying to make a simple return to this store. When making a return with the original receipt, the cashier yelled at me for trying to return something from the Oxnard store, to the Ventura store. I explained to her I have never been to the Oxnard store, I live in Ojai and this is the closest too me. She then had the manager come over and yell at me for the same reason. Thinking I was crazy, I told them both I can just take it to the Oxnard store if it’s that big of an issue. They then said, «No, we are being nice and allowing you to do it this time.» and «allowed» me to get store credit instead of refunding me the cash. I later went online and read Bed Bath & Beyonds return policy which says, «Returns can be made at any of our stores* nationwide or to our Returns Processing Center. Simply provide your original receipt or packing slip and we will complete an exchange or merchandise refund for the amount paid to the original form of payment**.» I can honestly say I will not being returning to this store.

I have been in this store, no joke atleast 10 times last couple weeks. Well between this store and the oxnard store. The first time I went in here I hated it. It felt empty. Maybe they were changing stuff there weren’t a lot of options. But now I know this is the one to go to. Customer service is great, they’ll walk me all over the store to find one thing.

My fiancé and I have been going to home depot and BBB a lot recently, especially since they are conveniently located right next to each other. They have great stuff, little gadgets and gizmos that you may not even need but will def give a nice touch to your household.
I got curtain panels there that I was very happy with that cost me $ 20 each which is more expensive than what you can get off Amazon but I feel like the quality was also better than what you can get off Amazon. We also bought a set of a bathroom rugs. This is one of the few places that sell a runner (50 $ though!!) but I guess you can raise the price if you’re the only place that sells it. They also had a 20% coupon off one item which is nice.
Anyways, why the 3 stars then? I went to make a return/​exchange yesterday night and was not aware of the policy that you cannot carry your items back into the store. They had to be left up front. So one of the team members came up to us when we were browsing and literally grabbed the bag out of my fiancé’s hand and started marching up to the front register saying that it will be up there waiting for us when we were done. I was a bit confused as he didn’t explain what he was doing so I went after him and said okay, I can make the exchange first and put it back in my car. Instead of stopping and giving me back my item, he kept walking away with it yelling something like «this is policy» without even making eye contact with me. I understand some stores have certain policies but it would have been nice if he just politely told me. Thanks Steve…

Friendly staffs & great service. An appreciation to Ms Chanell for assisting me to purchase a couple of Yankee Candles. The forest fragrance of Balsam & Cedar & the spiced Apple Pumpkin enhance whole ambience.

I love coming here for gadgets and gizmos! Bed, Bath and Beyond have great coupons (20% and $ 5 off of $ 20), the cashiers take them even if they are expired. You can use multiple 20% off coupons on one bill whereas only one $ 5 off of $ 20 can only be used on a single bill.
BB&B are also great about returns within warranty. Its ok if you don’t have the receipt, they can look up the warranty using the serial number. I just replaced my steam mop which had a two year warranty like this. The manager and cashiers are super polite. Definitely makes the experience pleasant. :)
The kitchenware is my favorite section. Go and check it out when you can!

Store says they open at 9a, and it’s now 9:04 and still can’t enter said establishment… finally the doors have opened at 9:06…nothing like punctually to start the morning.

Customer Service is on point at this location! We came in this morning looking to purchase an air purifier. Being complete amateurs we had no idea what the differences between the machines were. Teresa, the store manager was EXTrEMELY helpful! She was definitely our saving grace… She did the research for us and provided great advice. She definitely knows her product information! We will definitely come back for our future home needs and products and to see Teresa ;)

After a really bad experience with EuroPro Shark over a warranty, I remembered that BB&B has a great return policy. Called them (Ventura Store) and spoke to Kelly who reminded me just to return the item with receipt and get a full refund. They quickly and happily refunded my original purchase price and ordered me a replacement (again at the original price I paid). The moral: buy from BB&B. they will treat you with dignity and honor their commitment. I will always be a loyal customer!

Over priced unless you have coupon, but I suppose that is what management is counting on. Never seen more than 2 registers open even during peak times so if you go on the weekend expect to wait in line. Management always seems to be dumbfounded when asked why they cannot open 3 registers at a time.

I like to go here for kitchen items… it’s a really good all around household item type of store, but pricey for bedding (in my opinion) I guess that is because they have great brands. However; the kitchen items are so fabulous and well priced that I am always going there for anything kitchen related. They are definitely a store not to miss if you are in the shopping center! Trust me, you will find things you wont find in other stores, and you will spend a lot of time browsing. I love this store!
I especially love the prices they have for kitchen canisters. If you are looking for canisters for sugar, flour, rice, beans, tea, whatever, you will get the absolute BEST prices for high quality canisters that lock air tight and good looking too. Most kitchen canisters I find in other stores are way over priced, but you go here and look at the price tag and they’re like $ 3 to $ 7 and the other stores are charging over $ 15 for the same canisters!
Trust me! Check it out. I love this store, it’s way more than just ‘bedroom’ and ‘bathroom’ stuff.

Tons of merchandise to choose from, and so many great deals. Anything you could ever need or want for the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and home décor, you can find here. I’ve always had great customer service here, and parking can be limited if you end up there at a popular time.
I really enjoy this store. Always fun stuff to look at.

Worst customer service I have ever received! I stood in front of the ‘Customer Service’ desk for more than ten minutes while 4 associates made a fuss over 1 customer. I would have asked to speak to the manager normally BUT the manager was one of the 4 associates ignoring me. Not once was I acknowledged! I had to make a return otherwise I would have left. I will NEVER go back to this store. Shop online before you go to this store!

I was not a huge fan of BBY, but then we had to get a wedding present for my wife’s boss’s daughter. The gift registry list was easy to read, All the shipping info was already in their data base. We picked out the big ol spaghetti pot for them. The manager waived the shipping fee to North Carolina, gave us free gift wrap and made sure it would get there when the couple were still «out there», We also got the standard 20% OFF, too.

We got two solid, attractive table lamps & one matching floor lamp for a grand total of $ 50.00. [1][2]
Other than that, I think it’s fair to add:

— packed with home décor sundries
— low prices
— friendly-​enough service
