Bottom line: The best pizza you can get delivered. Their sandwiches and pasta are decent as well.

This place has been here longer than most residents have lived out here. Not a world-class pizzeria, but definitely worth what you pay for. Delivery services good, I’ve always received food that tastes good, and have never had any serious issues or complaints. I have recommended this place to my friends.

Regretfully, it has taken me almost two weeks to get this review out but better late than never right? My girlfriend and I moved into the apartments down the street from this restaurant on June 12th and got help from her parents with moving. LONG story short, there was some hilariously classic miscommunication between my girlfriend’s mom and the cashier about who she was picking the food up for the cashier went along with it, but it was the wrong order AND she paid for an order she thought I requested and also already paid for. Bottom line, the food was DELICIOUS and the team in the restaurant understood the miscommunication and granted us the refund we were due considering over $ 50 was spend because of a classic mix up of orders. There was no hassle, no argument, nothing like that. I went very smoothly and her mom and I walked out happy :) I will be going back to this place when I’m ready for some decent pizza!

Great service on phone versus any other pizza place. Friendly and helpful. Ordered pizza and wings. Quality and taste was from good to great. I do feel delivery minimum is too high and surely is higher than thier competitors.

The call went out at 16:00 hours pacific time. I spoke with the communication team about an all meat pizza with ranch in place of marinara. Seal Team Six responded with a suggestion to add a meatball sub so I did just that. The convoy arrived at 16:40 hours pacific time smelling of fresh cheese. I met the driver at the rendezvous point and we made the exchange. Several moments passed by and the next thing I know I’m facedown in hot cheese and beef. I’ve been worse places on a Wednesday night so I was happy. Overall good experience and quick mission but quite expensive. Happy hump day. ~The Pizza Chief

The food was excellent; I ordered the great meal deal of spaghetti, antipasto, and pizza. The cheese had great texture/consistency, the salad was fresh, and the spaghetti tasted great even microwaved the next morning.

This place is right down the street from where we live. We always walk over and pick it up, and the pizza is just ok. Definitely not my favorite, but overall it is edible and the employees and nice.

This is good pizza. Far better than the major chains. Especially their sausage. Yummy. Their garlic bread is also great. High quality. I’m a happy repeat customer when I need my pizza fix.

Wow this is bad. I didn’t order any pizza so don’t listen to me if that’s what you plan on getting. I ordered a chicken parmigiana with rigatoni, a lasagna, and a baked manicotti. I swear on my life the chicken is a smashed down chicken nugget from Mc Donald’s. tastes and looks exactly the same The lasagna had nearly no meat in it, just lots of pasta and cheese. Everything was pretty much just bad plain tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Lots of cheese. I couldn’t tell what dish was what because everything was swimming in sauce and a thick mound of melted cheese. I want to compare the food to that Italian place at the mall, sabarro’s I think it’s called. But the mall place is better. The garlic bread wasn’t even toasted just warm. One star for good service, the delivery guy was here within 35 minutes and it only costed $ 25 for three entrées. All in all un edible

I like ordering pizza from Ameci Pizza & Pasta. As always the white knight was delicious. The ranch chicken was better than I expected it to be. The eggplant parmesan with spaghetti was good although I would have liked it if it had been served with a bit more sauce. The service was friendly as always. I feel the pricing is fair for the quality of food. Ummm.. .I think that is everything, right?

The closest thing to NY Pizza in Ventura. Fair prices and exceptional customer service. I recommend their lasagnas and specialty pizzas.

I honestly would degrade this one star review if I had the opportunity. Their food is decent, we often order here for the chicken wings because the pizza is mediocre. With so many pizza chains in any city, customer service should set your place a part from the rest. This is where my review should be of interest, especially to this 40 something restaurant small chain. This past Sunday night my boyfriend and I called at 9:28pm for a late meal. A man answered, or I should say mumbled, «Ameci we are closed». I didn’t understand what he said so I said, «what?» And he repeated himself. We hung up and I was alarmed they were closed at this hour when you normally expect a pizza place to be open late, even on Sundays. I quickly looked up their hours of operation on their website and discovered that they are«open» until 10. I called back and of course no one answered. I wrote the company and received a response this morning stating that it was their mistake and sorry for the confusion. Even though I told them I would never eat here again, there was no attempt to rectify what they call a confusion, I call a huge error. Sadly do they realize the power of word of mouth and the Internet. I could care less about a free pizza or anything else, but make it right with your customers, an apology is shit to me. Like another reviewer said, I’m very disappointed I didn’t chose my favorite pizza place Toppers last night first. I know now not to stray from a better quality pizza and customer service!

This place is a fucking joke. Ok. Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system, allow me to begin; I have never had a good experience here. On occasion, the food has been pretty good, but outside of that, it’s a real stretch to live with that 2nd star. To avoid belaboring your very existence with every minute detail of every time Ameci’s has tried to ruin my life, I’ll just give you the skinny on what went so awry this evening. My boyfriend and I ordered our food at 8:45, nothing crazy, just dinner for two. We were quoted a 30 – 45 minute wait. At 9:45 we called to check in, they close at ten, we were getting anxious. We were given the usual«the driver is making deliveries now, he’ll be there in a minute.» At 10:00 our food finally arrives, and boy was it awful. Everything tasted like it had been sitting around for almost an hour. Our cheesy bread was more like greasy, cold cardboard. Our calzones were luke warm and they apparently found it necessary to shove all the ricotta in the store into my modest little calzone. Naaaasty. After a couple bites of everything, my appetite quickly dissipated, and I’m actually feeling pretty gross. My boyfriend had a few bites of his barely palatable main course, then promptly switched over to the sub he ordered from them. I gave him the slightly tilted head glance, to which he promptly replied; «well, I’ve found you always need to order a back-up sub. They never fuck you on the back-up sub.» We called back a few bites into our meal to offer them a chance to rectify this atrocity to my mouth, and of course, no one answered because it was 10 minutes past closing. This is not the first time this has happened with this location OR the Newbury Park store. This place is a racket, and I’m tempted to call Topper’s to apologize for straying.

Good value neighborhood pizza joint. There is no seating area. The pizza is thin crust, good flavor, but very light on the toppings. I would recommend ordering the managers special– 2 large pizzas, hot wings, 2 liters of soda for $ 25.00 for a great deal.

The old owner was WAYYYYYYYYY better. Freindly, fun, and very likable. Not a fan of the new ownership, and its been a few years. So I just stick with papa johns. The new people are just rude, and kinda cold. Not the same ol local pizza joint it used to be. shame shame shame!

I like their pizza but I called for delivery and was told about 35 min. That was an hour ago! I called to check on it and was told the driver just left 2 or 3 min ago. That is not good service. Last time I ordered from them I picked it up. They said in 15 min and when I arrived I waited another 15. Bottom line don’t order here if you have time restraints! Added later; When it finally came it was not any where near hot! Just only get this pizza when you will be picking it up. The pizza taste good and is priced right.

This is a great little neighborhood pizza joint. A buddy brought me in here after we finished working on a project and I see that this is a place where people make an effort to know your name and remember your face. I got a Hawaiian calzone and it was loaded with pineapple and ham and feta cheese. They seem to really look after you here.
