Amber Weir Event Design & Coordination

After our wedding at Firestone Winery, so many friends and family told us how much fun, how special, how crazy, how funny, how beautiful, how great the details were for our wedding. The phrase «best wedding I’ve ever been to» was thrown out several times! Now, whether or not those things are true, that is totally how my husband and I felt. We enjoyed every moment and overall were so happy with the day. I feel we owe so much of our great day to Amber. During the planning process she was so helpful and she really listened. By the time we got to the wedding she had a great understanding of what we wanted out of our day. Because of Amber we were able to really enjoy the entire experience. We had so many different vendors; it was great having her as the main point of contact. She was on top of everything. EVERYTHING! She remembered all the small details I mentioned along the planning like it was our Pastors anniversary and our good friend’s birthday. She helped the DJ with the exact of «We Were Young» by FUN. that we wanted played as the last song. She tamed the crazy guest that tried to crash the bridal party photos and give an impromptu speech. She was like the secret service! Because her organization was impeccable she made up for blunders made by the caterers. She kept the night flowing. She made having fun feel effortless. When I was looking for a coordinator for my May 27, 2012 wedding in Montecito, I asked several of the vendors with whom I was working who they recommended. When the answer was «Amber Weir» over and over again, the decision was pretty clear, and I could not be happier! Amber was my «month-​of» coordinator, along with Merissa and Courtney who were at my wedding the day of because Amber had a booked another wedding before I got a hold of her. Everyone on her team was fantastic, and it was wonderful to hand over so many of the details to the team in the weeks leading up. The day of the wedding ran smoothly, and I didn’t have to do a thing other than get married and have my photo taken. Amber, Merissa and Courtney were amazing! Thank you so much!

Amber is wonderful!!! I am a pretty picky person, but I have to say that Amber impressed me sooooo much! I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
We hired her for full wedding planning. With my busy work schedule, she was our life saver! She is so approachable and so easy to work with. We hit it off from the very beginning! From our first meeting to our wedding day, she was wonderful and so professional! Whenever we needed to ask her a question or talk to her, she was available. She took care of EVERYTHING for us!!!
We realized how invaluable Amber really was on the rehearsal and wedding dayd. On our wedding day, from early in the morning till the event was over, she was on top of everything! I didn’t have to even stress about a single thing. I was able to really relax and enjoy my wedding day. My family was sooo impressed with Amber and everything she did on the wedding day! I don’t know what we would have done without Amber!

Amber was amazing! As a professional wedding DJ, I have worked with countless planners and coordinators. Amber was simply the best. She ensured that I was on the same page as her weeks before the wedding. She did a great job of coordinating all of the vendors. This led to a perfectly smooth night. Everything ran right on schedule and I was able to focus on the music, dancing, and any announcements. It was very obvious that the bride and groom (and whole bridal party) were very happy with Amber. In my experience, the coordinator can make or break a wedding. With Amber, no detail was overlooked and the night was perfect!

Having known Amber since high school, I knew I’d be in great hands for our wedding. She already had tons of beautiful weddings under her belt and so many family friends recommended her.
We hired Amber for month-​of coordination. We had almost everything done for the wedding as far as attire, catering, flowers, location and music. The biggest and most stressful thing was organizing the details for the actual wedding ceremony and the reception and making sure we didn’t have to worry about anything on the big day. That’s where Amber stepped in and truly helped put all the pieces together! She was so up-​to-​speed on everything that needed to be done the minute we met, yet added no extra stress, even when she kindly pointed out that we had yet to get our marriage license with only a week until the wedding! Thank goodness she pays such close attention to details and needs. She was super organized, very professional, but totally down to earth and made me feel at ease during meetings and run-​throughs with vendors. It was nice to have her professional opinion available when vendors start throwing all the last minute questions at you.
Amber took all of the responsibility for the décor we were handling ourselves and favors for the reception. She let us load up her car and she took care of decorating the venue and ensuring all of the details where handled. She even had a Bridal Emergency Kit the day of the wedding — thank goodness for the extra deodorant on hand! I was a sweaty, nervous mess! On the wedding day, she also helped with the coordination of the ceremony and made sure all of the events at the reception happened on time and as planned. Our DJ and photographer loved her timeline and said it was one of the smoothest weddings ever! She was wonderful and I give so much credit to her and her assistant for making it all happen!
My family and friends at the wedding even made a point to tell me they saw the «wedding coordinator in action» and she looked and acted so professional. Thanks to Amber, I was able to feel completely at-​ease on our wedding day, not worry about a single thing except being a bride and having the time of my life!
