Zingara Trading

This is my number one place to go shopping in Abbott Kinney. They have beautiful print dresses, which my wife adores and bought two yesterday. They also have beautiful dresses which my daughter adores. The staff was very attentive to both of them.
I like buying their woolen products which make fantastic Xmas gifts. Purchased their woolen socks and a shawl this go around.
Just a great great shop with original items.

I love this place. I returned a carpet that was too big and they were more than delightful, full refund, quick fast. Fabulous jewelry, clothing… clogs. I love this place.

Love the mermaid bathroom. It’s a whole «Under The Sea» type theme & is emerald green. I am going to copy it and try to do my bathroom the same way. Does anyone have a picture of the mermaid bathroom? Please post! Thanks, M.

On a recent trip to LA (on my way to Gjelina for lunch) I stopped into Zingara and browsed through some of their unique offerings. I love the vintage-​look dresses and the soft, suede high heels in unusual colors with interesting clips, bows, and flourishes. The dresses and the shoes were reasonably priced (dresses — low hundreds, shoes marked down to $ 99 or $ 140). I tried on the Swedish clogs and although they looked comfortable and stylish, wood is an unyielding support and something I didn’t think I could get used to. I would go back to Zingara in a minute though. The sales people were charming and helpful.

Clogs.
If you want a pair of clogs — come to Zingara. They have it all from bright flashy ones, to modest ones, to ones with more pronounced heels. They also have a nice selection of cute vintage looking heels — which seem like they would be easy on the feet.
While nothing at Zingara was particularly compelling, I was a fan of their their homemade stylish fringed bags, accentuated with popping Pendleton fabrics (swoon).
Zingara’s inventory seemed to be fairly hit or miss — with some true fitted and stylish gems, paired beside more loose-​fitted — slightly tacky items.
Still — it’s well worth a visit — for some fun colorful browsing and if you’re a fan of comfortable orthopedic sassy clogs — Zingara is what’s up.
Trust.

Eclectic shop with women’s & children’s clothing, jewelry, shoes, kitchen towels, & some fair trade food options. A bit pricey but it supports local artists and clothing designers.

Great finds in here, especially the jewelry and kid stuff. What a great colorful collection! Oh, and vintage fun finds in back of shop. I really enjoyed my recent visit! Very friendly staff too. Thanks, guys!

This store is totally adorable. It has a mix of items from custom clogs, clothes, jewelry etc. Pretty random things ranging from useless and fun to useful though not necessarily practical. The lady helping me was really nice and friendly. I purchased a small ring and she provided information on the artist who made it. I loved being able to get that.
Not a destination, but is worth stopping by if you are in the area.

Unique stuff, friendly environment, cute house of a store, and dog-​friendly. Some great finds and some things are quite pricey. A good place to find gifts.

I love this beautiful store. The owner and sales people are friendly and the atmosphere is whimsical and lovely. The clothing is beautiful and they have Karina Dresses there, new in from NYC! They are great dresses, and I love them. I walk into this store and feel transported to a new world. I highly recommend it. Go in, and escape!

Came in this week after browing the ol’ Abbot Kinney. Would love to have purchased two pairs of clogs, a rug and a print, but the two ladies were too busy arguing with a what appeared to be a vendor or buyer of some kind.
I waited patiently and smiled and they never once acknowledged me. So I browsed the store for a bit longer. Still with the same lady. So I walked out. Way to blow a $ 300+ sale.
Very disappointing.

This place is so funky, colorful, zen, cool! It’s one of my favorite stores on Abbot Kinney! And huge props that they carry CLOGS! Yes, CLOGS! I love clogs! Zingara can special order certain colors for you, as well, if they don’t have what you want in stock. My new bestie store for clogs. Plus, they carry cute clothing and accessories too.
They also have a great little back yard area where on occasion/​special events, they have bands play while you can kick back in the comfy, cozy pillows/​couches back there.

This is absolutely one of the best finds in Venice (especially on Abbot Kinney!) Don’t get me wrong, I love Abbot Kinney Blvd., but often find I can’t afford most of the shops down there. I enjoy taking a walk and stopping to get a scoop of amazing ice cream (at Nice Cream) but rarely shop. Zingara is the rare exception to my rule. I have a very eclectic family, so finding a store where I can buy for my mom and my nieces (in their 20’s) is a rare find.
They carry an amazing mix of hand made or ethnic styles stuff from baby clothes, to woven floor mats. Some of my favorite items are their vast kitchen collection, unusual jewelry and stunning footwear. Really I could list items all day long.
So next time your in Venice. go to Abbot Kinney and window shop, but stop in at Zingara. you’ll be happy you did!

I love Zingara. No AK attitude… really nice, helpful owner and staff.
They have a lot of fun home décor, mixed in with unique clothes… a lot of vintage style dresses and artsy, ethnic (fair trade) styles. There are amazing rugs that are made from recycled plastic bottles. Donna (the owner) helped me pick out a beautiful purple, blue, green pattern that looks great on my porch with the lobelia plants. Price ranges are mixed. There’s higher end mixed with vey reasonable. The rugs are a buy!

I wouldn’t call myself a collector of homemade jewelry or anything, but oh boy did this place make my eyes pop outta my head!
Like many adorable shops on Abbot Kinney, it’s fashioned out of an old cottage-​type house, with little rooms, each adorned with various accessories according to theme. The main room hosts various scarves, mittens, and other clothing. An adjacent «bedroom» displays a wall of completely unique shoes, boots, hats — and the connected bathroom might not have anything to «buy» — but lets just say it’s an aesthetic experience unlike any you will ever have while sitting on the pot again…
My favorite room was the kitchen, with aprons, little food-​themed booklets, stuffed ‘pastries’, food themed plaques with sayings like «In wine there is truth» (in French of course, cause that way it sounds even COOLER).
And lastly, a fully functional patio out back, perfect for the small bonfire which literally «lit up» the night at their Abbot Kinney First Fridays party the other night. Not to mention, the hosted wine, cheese, and salami platter (also a First Friday tradition) sure didn’t hurt to make me feel RIGHT at home here. Zingara, you’re absolutely adoooorable. If it wasn’t for all of the delicious furnishings in the way, I’d move right in. But for now, I’ll definitely be a frequent house guest!
