WHO EVER IS IN CHARGE OF THIS PLACE IS THE DEFINITION OF EVIL.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND I LITERALLY MADE A Unilocal ACCOUNT TO JUST LEAVE THIS REVIEW OF THE AWFUL, HORRIBLE, MISERABLE, WOMAN RUNNING THIS BUSINESS.
About a month ago we got a new husky puppy, about 3 months old. While we’re working, we keep him in the backyard like normal households. Our neighbors claimed they heard our puppy chocking and brought him to this animal hospital because they «personally knew the owner.» BUT not only did our neighbors take our puppy without letting us know in ANYWAY (not even a note!) when we came back frantically looking for our dog, we confronted our neighbors and they straight-​up denied seeing him the whole day.
We have security camera’s, so finally we checked them and saw our neighbor taking the dog. Once we confront her she claims that the hospital told them not to say anything! The owner told our RANDOM neighbors not to tell the OWNERS of the dog she STOLE out of our backyard! Remember the owner knows my neighbors personally, and that’s why she took or dog even when the business was closed that day. We eventually find out where she brought our dogs and call Voice for the Animals emergency line repeatedly until someone calls us back hours later that night. She says how she left our dog with a «host family» for the night and that she’ll arrange a drop off in the morning.
So we’re livid, but the most important thing was to get back our dog, and at this point we assume most of the guilt is on our neighbors, but it was really on this business.
In the morning we NEVER get a call from Voice for the Animals. We frantically call every shelter in Santa Monica after waiting HOURS for her to call, looking for a husky puppy, and eventually we find him.
The shelter said the woman brought our dog in the mooring for ADOPTION! This lady gave my dog up for adoption — she has never even met me! Told the shelter we we’re «unfit» parents. SHE HAS NEVER MET US. NEVER MET THE DOG TILL THAT DAY.
I literally had to readopt my puppy that day for $ 97 dollars. $ 97 dollars to have my OWN DOG BACK THAT GOT STOLLEN.
Mam, I honestly hope your business runs to the ground. You are an awful person. The definition of doing the wrong thing. You caused us extreme anxiety and worry for over 24 hours and made decisions that definitely were not yours to make.
Just know that karma comes around. You deserve the worst for your business. And I advice EVERYONE AND ANYONE TO AVOID THESE PEOPLE!

I went to their Sunday adoption event and was very impressed with how friendly all of their workers and volunteers were (even though the volunteers weren’t employees, just high school kids getting school credit).
I learned the backstories of some of the cats they rescued and even overheard a woman asking them to rescue kittens that were springing up in her apartment building. They said yes without any hesitation.
No dogs were there the week I went, although Mary told me they do rescue dogs. They just didn’t happen to have any there this time.
I will certainly come to this group when my girlfriend gives me the green light to bring home another furry friend!

I Really love Voice for the animals!!! I got two cute dogs there and I am so glad I saved their lives. I like to hug them all day long.
Their adoption events in the pacific palisades on sunday are really great, and they use high school students as volunteers. Its so cute to see how into it they are!!!
