Love this store. We got our wedding invitations done with them and the whole process was handled wonderfully, and the final product just lit my fiancé’s face. Of course, every time, I went there I looked around at all the cool pens, cards and notepads that they carry, and ended up buying a lot more than I needed at the time. It is just a wonderful place with wonderful staff to help.

Whenever my wife a I are in LA we always stop by Urbanic Paper Boutique. They have cool pens, notebooks, and other paper related items that we like to buy. The help that Hali provides is beyond compare. Great store!

I have been following this store in instagram for sometime now and since I live in Orange County I finally made my way to the shop this past weekend and it was absolutely everything I had imagined it to be! Their selection of cards were great and I love that all their cards are so unique and made by local artists of the area, that makes it so much more special. On top of the amazing card selection they have some pretty great gift items as well! The cutest stationary/​calendars/​notebooks, Party supplies, prints, coffee mugs, pens/​pencils. All of it absolutely adorable. Can’t wait to go back!
A bit pricey if you are not used to buying specialty items — I spent over $ 100 here over the weekend but do not regret it one bit! Can’t wait to use my cards!

This is one of the stores that started the Abbott Kinney revival! As with most places on this block, you’ll pay a little more, but the items are of utmost quality. The store appeals mostly to women, but if you are man and need a gift, go here and the girls will help you. I guarantee you’ll have the coolest card, the coolest gift, the best wrapping paper, and the gift-​ee with feel special! Cheers,

I really love browsing in this shop. I get almost all my birthday cards here. Their paper and prints are so beautiful and unique. They also have adorable party supplies that really stand out. They even have chocolate!
They are a little pricey, but everyone who works there is always very nice.

One of my favorite stores in all of LA — granted I love paper but that love has motivated me to shop at allll the paper spots & none hold a candle to Urbanic. I’m tempted to say I’m sad it’s so far away from me but honestly it’s a good thing. All the shop girls here are lovely as well /​keep it up!

Love this place so much. They have an excellent selection of stationery, cards, wrapping paper and gifts. Unlike some of the more indie gift stores, these cards tend to run toward the well-​designed and tasteful rather than crass and hipster.
If there are people you care about and want to get them something unique it’s definitely worth a splurge here.

I looove this store! I can spend hours in here just browsing all the cute stationery, cards, candles, notebooks, etc!
It’s a great place to find a cute, unique card for a friend or a special someone who would appreciate that kind of thing. They are a little expensive though (about $ 6 per card). I especially love the Rifle Paper Company designs. They also have great gifts like nice candles, and also a gift-​wrapping service. You can get your invitations done here too.
Located on Abbott Kinney Blvd which has a bunch of other cute restaurants, stores and boutiques. Parking can be a little difficult (street parking only) but there’s always smaller streets nearby that tend to have open spots.

This great little shop, has zillions of cards to choose from. But my favorite feature is their gift-​wrapping service.
I recently needed a gift wrapped for a special occasion and I went in to see if they could do the job. They did a wonderful job on the package and finished quickly.
They are not inexpensive, but for that special gift, for that special someone, this is a great place.

They also have a lot of different trinkets and gift options. It’s a great place and I have already been back twice!

The best card, gift, stationary, desk steez, make-​you-​smile-​just-​because shop in LA. Don’t get me wrong — I love getting presents — but buying, wrapping, and giving gifts from Urbanic is almost as good as receiving them. They stock gorgeous wrapping papers & decorative tape, as well as lovely scented candles and rad ultra fine point pens. The selection of letter pressed cards is amazing! There’s something for everyone here :).

This spot is pricey as hell ($ 6 for a card), but they have great options.
Sometimes you just need the right card, and that card is not the cheapest option. No sir… you need something amazing, and that’s when you visit Urbanic — because they have everything!
I hear they do great invitations as well and wouldn’t hesitate to use them if I were to need something like that.

Urbanic’s bespoke stationary services are TERRIBLE! Their designs are very average (at best), the stationary and printing process is low quality, and customer service is awful. I worked with a woman named Kay who seemed completely rude and disinterested in helping me, provided no creative input (as a bespoke stationary expert, she should be able to provide some artistic advice/​direction), and never returned my calls. One would have better luck and save money by working with an online stationary company like Wedding Paper Divas.
I’m giving this company two stars instead of one star because I like the retail store and their off the rack birthday and holiday cards.

Okay, it’s no surprise that 99% of the reviews for Urbanic are from females, but I’m a male and I still think this store is cool. Here’s why:
1. Stationery — dudes need pens and notebooks too, and Urbanic has a great and surprisingly affordable selection of them.
2. Cards — if you live in Venice and want to get a nice card, you’re limited on choices (Ralphs does not count — I said nice). Urbanic has some fun and creative ones that will make you smile.
3. Candles — chances are your place smells and guys — girls will notice. Buy a candle (yes, they have masculine scents too).

I’ve often heard about Urbanic on the wedding/​lifestyle blogosphere (Oh So Beautiful Paper… Oh Joy… Oh Happy Day… what is it with blogs that start with «Oh»?) and was happy to find it was right across the street from Lemonade, where we had grabbed a bite for lunch.
Walked over and perused the store – the walls and walls of cards (bought Mother’s Day cards! yay!), paper goods, ribbons, wrapping paper, misc. decorative goods, journals, candles, paper straws, and more. So many awesome little things. Inspiring displays in the windows and inside the store – plus, pretty prints too! They carry a lot of the most popular brands (i.e. Rifle Paper Co, Eggpress, etc). A little pricey for me and my everyday life, but for gifts and special occasions, loved it.
And as Amy T pointed out, loved that they are friendly and helpful, but kind of let you peruse and linger as long as you’d like.
Will definitely stop by when in Abbot Kinney!
