We can help you prep for an event as well as schedule regular cleanings of all your exterior spaces. All workers bonded and insured.

Business Owner

Dawn started Sparkleyard to address a personal problem: before every party she threw she would spend hours in her garden cleaning and grooming it. Neither her maid nor her gardener had the skills or inclination to do the work, and there was no company she could find to do it for her. With her gardening acumen, maniacal attention to detail, a little seed money and plenty of moxie, she launched Los Angeles’ first outdoor maid service in 2013.

I could not be happier with the services I received from Sparkleyard! I hired them to redo the plants on my large patio and they did an amazing job. Dawn and Mary were so accommodating and helpful. Truly a fantastic and unique service and experience. They were referred to me by a neighbor who had seen their truck in the neighborhood. I looked at the Unilocal reviews and called right away. Dawn was wonderful to work with. She came to my house to give me an estimate for what I needed done. She was very honest about what I needed/didn’t need and what she could provide as far as services. I booked her to come with her crew and they did an amazing job. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish and I plan to use Sparkleyard again and again And recommend them. Sparkleyard — what an awesome service! I had a party coming up and always have so much to do, until the last minute. We have a smallish home so most of our entertaining is done in the backyard patio area. To have someone else come in to lesson my work load was such a relief!
In advance of booking the job, owner Dawn came by to check out our property and get a sense of what was needed. I knew I wanted help with the time-​consuming task of wiping down all the furniture but she did a careful walk through with me, offering additional areas that could be addressed if I liked — I did.
That week there was rain on and off in the forecast. I went back and forth about canceling but finally decided Thursday to go ahead with our Friday Sparkleyard appointment when it was predicted the weather Saturday for the party would be clear. (Note: Sparkleyard has a minimum 24 hours in advance cancellation policy, to honor the work commitment made by their team members.)
Leanne (?), the gal who came to take care of our job, was pleasant and hard working. She was very meticulous, even cleaning the outside window ledges that had never been done since we moved in years before. There was so much work, however, it took longer than expected; Dawn ended up coming over herself to help finish all that she’d promised Sparkleyard would do.
Unfortunately, it did end up pouring rain the evening of our party so we were all forced to stay indoors. :-(I look forward to hiring Sparkleyard another time when we can count on clear weather to really appreciate their work.

I absolutely LOVE Sparkleyard! Dawn and her team were here this past week where they transformed both my front and back yard within 4 – 5 hours of them first getting here… I couldn’t believe how amazing it looks and right in time for Christmas! I was able to hang my lights and when people are walking by I can hear them saying «wow, how cute is that house or look how cute her front yard is» it’s such an awesome feeling. Seriously love the work they did and everything including my roof is clean! Also, when Dawn first came out to give me an estimate on the work that needed to be done, I was embarrassed by the complete mess my dogs had made in the back and the overall untidiness of the entire area but Dawn made me feel completely at ease without judgement whatsoever. I highly recommend Sparkleyard and cannot wait for phase 2 to see what’s next!

Sparkleyard is awesome! I have a ton of potted plants on my front patio that had overgrown their pots, needed dead leaves trimmed off, etc. I knew it was a big job and just didn’t seem to ever be in the mood to tackle it for a few hours on a weekend. Finally I just called Sparkleyard. Wish I had done that months ago! I told them to mix and match pots with plants and put plants back wherever they thought looked good… and it looks twice as good now as it used to. The owner Dawn has a good eye as well as a green thumb and Leithea (who works for them) tackled stuff I wouldn’t have even thought about, like cleaning our fence and trimming back our overgrown lavender plant by the front walk. Very happy!

Dawn and her team came and «sparkled» my backyard last week, and WOW, was it wonderful. My house was looking really sad on the outside, tons of cobwebs, overgrown plants, windows needed to be done, outdoor furniture covered in grime, and now it is clean and beautiful! Dawn and her team were so nice to be around, and they truly went above and beyond. I can now enjoy my backyard, and I intend to sign up for a monthly service with them to keep it that way!

I was overwhelmed getting ready for a party — over 100 people would be coming to my home. I never write reviews, but I just used Sparkleyard for the first time, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. They just spent a half-​day cleaning the exterior of all my windows and screens, and power-​washing my deck. I can’t say enough about what a difference my sparkly windows make to the look and feel of my house now, or about how thorough, pleasant and professional Dawn (the owner) was throughout the process. I had a crazy back patio after the spring showers we were getting in the south bay. It was overgrown with waist high weeds and a lot of dirty outdoor furniture. I called around and people could take care of one or the other. I also needed some trash hauled out and no one wanted to deal with that. Digging around I came across Sparkleyard and Dawn. After a couple emails and a call with her she stopped by and surveyed the scene. She came and sprayed the next week and a couple days later came back for the fun part. She was able to finish while I was at work and I came home to an amazingly clean and clear patio. It was perfect, the price was great, and Dawn was so easy to work with. I will be giving them any business I can think up in the future for sure.

We had a party coming up and needed to use our roof deck. I had not been up there all winter, so it was a mess. I am usually the person that gets the job of cleaning the deck and I was not looking forward to it. A friend told me about Sparkleyard and I am so happy I called them. They power washed everything, scrubbed the couch cushions, removed dead plants and a broken umbrella and even cut back some plants hanging over the fence. There are some businesses worth writing about and this is one of them. Sparkle Yard is such a UNIQUE service! I was depressed over how shabby my backyard was looking and its springtime. A friend of mine referred me to Dawn (the owner) and she took greAt care of me and my garden. They came and groomed every single plant plus they planted some new ones. They also wiped down my fence and my outdoor furniture which was filthy! Now I can have a party.
I was so impressed with the outcome that I’ve decide to hire them biweekly. Will check in again and let you know how that goes! Way better then a conventional gardener because they do actual cleaning and pay attention to little details that a gardener just doesn’t do. I highly recommend them.

THANK YOU Sparkleyard! The weather has been spectacular, but my yard was ‘meh’. I have a mow and blow gardener, but these people went deep and truly did ‘sparkle’ things up. I’m so happy with them, and my yard! This was a quick transformation… even if I did ‘get around to it’ and had tidied up my yard and furniture myself, it wouldn’t have been have as inviting when I was done. It’s never looked better! Sparkleyard was there for me in a heartbeat when I was in need of moving help. I literally had a 30 minute window and sparkleyard showed up. The owner and trustworthy employee went in and got the job done. They moved out the boxes and bed. Donated the bed and made my life wonderful because I was not in town. We communicated what needed to be done over a 5 minute call. I paid $ 50 and sparkleyard saved my … Saved the day. Dawn and her staff are professional and available and thorough. The last time I had people over for a backyard dinner party I only had time to make a quick pass at the dining set, porch, sliding door, etc… so I was grateful for the early sunset and candlelight and just hoped people wouldn’t look too close at my beautiful backyard turned almost haunted house like with the accumulation of cobwebs, spiderwebs, dead leaves, dog hair and that sticky dirt. I love my outdoor space, but my gardener only mows & blows and I can’t keep up.
I’m having an afternoon brunch this weekend so decided to try Sparkleyard’s outdoor maid service. They came while I was at work and dealt with my three flight-​risk dogs. They were fabulous… did a better job than I would have done (I come from a long line of very clean… so I’m meticulous). The de-​cobwebbing made me giddy. They cleaned in places I don’t have the tools to reach and some I wouldn’t have even thought of – my fascia boards are clean for heavens sake! My friends can look as close as they like — my backyard is as beautiful as it gets! Dawn is great and I’ll definitely call on her again!
