I am not big on card readings. They often make me feel like I’m stuck with a pre-​destined future and it’s not fun. This wasn’t a reading like that.
First of all, Max is magic. He’s like your shaman and your best friend all rolled into one. He feels safe and kind (although he’s pretty darn cute…)
You get this little electric charge in the air when you’re with Max. It was as if I already knew which cards I was going to pull, before I even pulled them, so that by the time I turned them over, I was being showered in a deluge of clarity, insight and meaning.
It was powerful.
Max cares about the people he reads for, plus he’s highly entertaining. I left my reading feeling happy, enlightened, and empowered.

Max Black helped me host a singles mixer and was an incredible fascination to everyone. He easily broke the ice for the strangers looking for love in LA while at a wine bar and intrigued them all into conversations over clever tricks and mind games. It was my first time meeting him, but his friendliness was immediately engaging for a great night out! Definite plus for any evening; many connections were made and mind-​blowing self– discoveries gave the guests a valued experience. Thanks Max!

Max was hired to work a wine and cheese mixer I attended and was a GREAT addition to the party.
He is a mentalist and there were things he deduced about me that there was no way he could have known! For example, Max asked me to think of any friend from my childhood. After a few moments, he looked me the eye started started exactly describing what my friend looked like, and then he spoke my friend’s name… «Mikey». It was unbelievable. Goosebumps.
Max intuited people’s iphone pin codes through their body language and then proceeded to do an astoundingly accurate, thoughtful and insightful tarot reading for both my business partner and I.
Often I find magicians strange or intimidating and while entertaining, not necessarily approachable. Max Black is nothing like that. He was fun, easy to talk to, made me feel really comfortable AND he was super entertaining and awe inspiring. I’d definitely recommend him for any event!

I met Max at a match making event and I thought the event had the potential to be super awkward and it wasn’t. I attribute a lot of that to Max. Max opened up the evening getting people to talk about themselves, feel comfortable, got people smiling and laughing. As the evening got going he made his way around with intuitive readings, mind-​reading card tricks and tarot readings. Max is incredibly friendly, approachable and had some great insights on the readings he provided (I particularly enjoyed mine). Max is someone you want as a friend because he’s so nice and if you’re having an event as the entertainment because he’s a great conduit to get people to break the ice.
