Meet the Business Owner
Mark J.
Business Owner
Dr. Mark Johnson grew up on a family farm in Spokane Washington.
He was a Honors and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Miami, and an Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society graduate of Northwestern University in Chicago. He was Intern of the Year at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, and specialized in Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado program in Denver. He was a commissioned officer in the Air Force, serving at Homestead and MacDill Air Forces bases. He has lived and practiced in Venice and Englewood since 1996.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and the American College of Eye Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He was a clinical professor of Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida.
