History

Established in 2010.

Creating custom dance hoops for pure self expression. Specializing in beginner hoops for adults and kids. Also offering Fire, LED, Fur, Poi and Travel hoops. Located in various eclectic venues in Venice and beyond.

Once a regular fixture on the north end of the Venice Boardwalk, my stand welcomed Santa Monica’s visitors to Venice. They would then roll south and at varying times of the day come back to share their stories, check in on the day’s fresh hula and leave with a travel hoop. I was off to a good start in 2010.

In 2012, LAPD determined that my gig is not art. Hoops are too useful to be sold on the boardwalk. After approaching the system from every angle have taken my hustle elsewhere. Online mainly but getting by with a little help from my friends.

Being supported by something I love so much has been a dream come true. Thank you!

Artist: Design, construct, sell and distribute dance, led and fire hoops for an eclectic clientele. Hoops are sold online, at select events, in studio and at all Recommended Businesses below…

I Offer tailored private and small group lessons in the basics of hoop dance grounded in rhythm, breath and technique. Licensed through the American Fitness Association, HoopGirl, and HoopnoticaFit/​Dance. Certified through LifeScan.
