I’ve been a student of capoeira here for about four years and I love it. I like that we have smaller class sizes then the larger schools that I’ve played with in the past. Also, I appreciate that everyone learns how to play the music, get comfortable with instruments and sing/​learn the songs. We even put on presentations for schools in the area.
The classes are always fun, laid back, and yet positively challenging. The location is great; right in the heart of Venice on California Ave. and Abbot Kinney. Because of our proximity and good weather we’ll sometimes have class at the beach.
I recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable, intimate, family-​like school to play and train with.
