Description

Specialties

Whole 20″ Pizza’s & Funnel Cakes have become one of our specialties! Fresh, crispy and fresh whip cream made to order with our Italian Machine. Our Pesto Pizza is amazing if you like spinach, grilled zucchini, red bell peppers and feta cheese. We have our own recipe for our Spicy Chicken Sausage, Italian, Lousiana Hot Smoked Sausage also. Our Chef is from Oaxaca Mexico and makes fresh Chile Rellenos, Carnitas, Salsa Verde and Red Salsa. We have an excellent reputation for our Fish Tacos. Our unique batter with cornmeal and large portions of fish guarantees our customers will be happy. Usually if anyone in a family gets a fish taco, they return for more after family members take a bite… We guarantee your satisfaction with our food freshness and quality. This is no average Venice Beach Food Stand. We take 1000% pride in our food. I almost forgot to mention our Cinnamon Apples Fried, Fried Oreos, Frozen Bananas, Fried Twinkies, Fried Snickers, Shaved Ice Cones, and Much Much more!

History

Established in 1996.

Food service has run in our family since 1928. We have catered groups from 20 to 7,000 people! We have taken the County Fair to Venice Beach. Our Oreo stuft Donuts on a stick, we are told is one of the best things some people have ever had. We love to hear that stuff.

Granny Smith Apple slices in a churro crust (APPLE PIE FRIES) Perhaps you might remember our previous restaurant, the ever popular «Larry Parker’s Beverly Hills Diner» We were famous for the Haagen-Dazs milkshake that John Travolta ordered in the movie «Pulp Fiction» and Drew Barrymore’s favorite vegetarian dishes and maybe having something for everyone.

Our Motto

If it don’t make you proud,

Don’t serve it to the crowd.

We believe in great food and the unexpected delights of quality for a good price.

Meet the Business Owner

Debbie P.

Business Owner

Debbie was born in Ohio. Her family had Motel/Diner/Market Truck Stops. She literally grew up in a 24 hour Diner. As a child she helped in the kitchen and counted quarters from the Jukebox. Her family moved to California in 1966 and opened Pal Joeys. Helping wait on tables, cooking and now dancing to the jukebox music Debbie was getting ready for her own restaurant. 1986 Debbie married Larry Parker and became co-owner of Larry’s Beverly Hills 24 Hour Diner. Debbie and Larry catered to the music industry in the middle of the night and being on South Beverly Drive, they served lunch to Everyone in the Movie business. William Morris Agency was a block away and Larry’s Diner was a popular burger stop for Jack Lemon, Kirk Douglas, James Woods, Mickey Rourke, Johnny Depp, Sharon Stone, Chris Rock, Stevie Wonder… etc. 1996 Beverly Hills did not want to have any 24 hour restaurants open so Here we are in Venice Beach, Happily cooking for People of all walks of Life. We are Happy 2B Here
