Dropped chair off mid April. I is now earl July and I just got my chair. I stopped by twice to pick it up — curious because I never heard from them– two weeks after dropping it off. It’s not ready. «I will call you when it’s ready,» he said. Stopped by again three weeks ago, still wasn’t ready. Long story short — awful customer service. I never got the call the chair was ready even though I stopped by twice in the last couple of months to check on the progress and he said he would call. Then he changed his payment method to cash only on the spot, even though I paid the deposit by check 2 and a half months earlier. With so many options for Upholstery shops in Venice, I will never go back here. Awful. Buyer beware.

I needed to have 3 Italian dining room chairs recaned and saw this little store front on Lincoln Blvd with a sign saying«chairs recaned» The store is piled high with furniture that has to be fixed in one way or another. I spoke to Pete, the owner, a warm and gentle man with many years of experience. I left my chairs with him on a Tuesday and he promised to have them ready by the following Monday. On Friday afternoon he called to tell me my chairs were ready. The workmanship was superb and the price charged was fair. I highly recommend this upholsterer for any furniture work you need done.
