Specialties

Our services include custom framing, gallery framing, canvas stretch, custom mirrors, printed canvases, flat mounting, and display boxes. We always work with our clients to design the best display option for any budget. No project is too small or too big! Some of our specialties include fabric mats, fillets, multi-window mats, shadow boxes, and infinity mirror display boxes. Whether handling fine art, textiles, photographs, or sports memorabilia, all of our processes are 100% archival, to help protect your treasures for years to come.

In addition to framing design — we offer shrink wrapping, glass replacement, pickup/delivery services, repair, and restoration of damaged or deteriorating artifacts and frames. We are always happy to meet clients by appointment.

Meet the Business Owner

Brent and Holly H.

Business Owner

Hinge Gallery is the collaboration of husband and wife team, Brent and Holly Houston. Brent is a master framer and Art Institute of Chicago trained painter with over 14 years experience in the framing industry. Brent approaches each project with care and collaboration. Holly Houston has over 9 years experience as a Gallerist and fine art curator. Holly believes art is essential to a happy life and that you don’t need a big budget to own quality art work and support artists in the process! Brent and Holly built Hinge Gallery together — combining their artistic skills, first in Chicago where they met, and now on Vashon Island, Washington where the two live with their kitty Finn.
