Gorgeous and secluded beach on Vandenberg AFB. About a 25 minute drive from Lompoc, when entering through the South Gate. Some facts: No cell reception at the beach, dogs are allowed but not during snowy-plover season(despite signage), shark attacks here are common, there is a porta-potty in the parking lot.

Beautiful unspoiled coastline! The base does a good job trying to protect it. If only those who have access who abide by the regs. Granted there’s no facilities, no swimming etc. But just to lounge, be lazy enjoy the serenity of the coast if you are a military IDHOLDER this is a FABULOUS place. Just abide by the rules so it stays open and others can enjoy.
