Vancouver Knowledge Beginnings

Wonderful experience here! Small class sizes and the teachers are great about communication. The director is very involved and has a open door for parents. Just wish it was not so spendy:) if I had not chosen to stay home after my second child, my kids would still go there!

I am very happy with this daycare. I got this referral from someone at work who said she researched everything in the area. I am new and from the east coast and picked a daycare from looking at sites on the Internet. It was awful. I will write a review on them next. My baby would be covered head to toe with food and no one wiped her down. Then I found a different day care. Knowledge beginnings has been a godsend. The teachers are caring and high quality. I even use them to help babysit frequently. The facility is clean and they even feed your kids. I’ve never seen my kid eat carrots or celery sticks at home but she does there. Each room has age appropriate furniture and a playground outside. The teachers are caring and know exactly what happened with your kid every day. The directors know your name and your kid. You are not just a number. If you go on vacation they reduce the weekly fee 50%! Any referrals you get $ 200 for each person. It’s hidden behind the ihop but the location is right off of 164^th and highway 14. I work in Portland so it is convenient. Their hours are great from 6 am to 6:30 pm. They will advance your kid to higher level classes if appropriate. Lots of extracurriculars and my kid loves it there. That’s what most important is that she is safe and getting a good start in life.

I am very pleased with my children’s experiences at this preschool. I have two very different children (one very introverted and one very extraverted) so I was concerned about finding a school that suited both of them, but Knowledge Beginnings has been awesome. The Director, Felicia Hintzke, is extremely customer-​centric and dedicated. The teachers are skilled and caring. My children are learning an amazing amount and they are enjoying their school day. I love coming to the school and watching my children on the computer console because it is so reassuring to watch how well they are doing. I also highly appreciate how responsive the staff has been about my daughter’s serious peanut and egg allergies. This school is not inexpensive but it is well-​worth the cost. I highly recommend it.
